It’s a small diner that has an 80s vibe. The food was good. The portions were good. Food prices have really skyrocketed the last few years, and the omelets may have been larger before, but it’s hard to make money and still have good food with giant portion sizes. I think they do a really good job balancing the two. I don’t like the slices of american cheese on my hash browns too much, but I’ve noticed lots of places are doing this now, and I’ll skip the cheese from now on. I didn’t have the waffles, which looked amazing, and I’ll definitely be going back to try them. The hashbrowns and my Denver omelet were pretty good, though.

After living in Clinton for over two years, I made my way to try Nora’s Cafe. I planned on ordering 2-3 entrees and something off the dessert menu if they had one. I’m pregnant and will sometimes order multiple things to eat and try a bit of each. I also forget to prepare food at times so I was taking it as an opportunity to prepare for my next meal with the leftovers.
I didn’t even get a chance to eat. I walked in to ask a question before sitting down to eat and one server acted as if she didn’t even want me in the restaurant. It was a very nasty mood and made me very uncomfortable. The other two servers were nice but the one server already implied the damage which made me too uncomfortable to stay.
I’m very disappointed that such a long standing business has such horrible customer service from their employee. I did not get her name but she had red hair and what seemed to be out of uniform.

Easy to get to, good value, open early which is handy. I had the eggs benedict and corned beef hash as a side. Overall it was fair, eggs were slightly overdone and the hollandaise had no detectable lemon in it. Corned beef hash was good. Wait staff was indifferent yet efficient. I was a bit disappointed over all, I usually love to go to these small diners as there can be some real gems out there. It’s always difficult to rate a restaurant with one meal and one wait staff, it appears many others have had much better experiences than I.

Man where do I start? I was really excited to come here it looked really good based off of reviews. The first thing we noticed was the really strong smell of cigarettes and lack of sanitation rating. Our group was too scared to ask about that so we decided to just stick it out and give it the benefit of the doubt. Well we got our food and that’s when we saw hair in our food and what looks like lint on our bacon and my breakfast sandwich. The waitress was nice about it but it kinda seemed like she was acting like this wasn’t the first time this happened. We just decided to leave and try somewhere else. Very disappointed. Probably should get someone out there to check it out honestly.
