If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would! Out of this world, magnificent restaurant located in Little Village. From the Spice Green Chili’s w/ Conchinita Pibil, to the Conchinita Pibil Torta to the Conchinita Pibil Omelette to the Carrot pancakes and Mexican Skins and Hibiscus Water, you name it, I’ll garuntee you it’ll be magnificent. The atmosphere is cozy and chic and the vibe very social. This is a the place to go for some delicious breakfast! We’ll have to find our way back and try the sandwiches someday.

I ordered the Home Made Beignets and the House Lobster Benedict through Uber Eats. The beignets were supposed to come with Nutella according to the menu description, but I received regular chocolate frosting instead. Nutella and chocolate frosting are not the same, so this felt misleading. The Lobster Benedict also did not taste like lobster at all. At that point, it might as well be called a crabcake benedict.

I am not complaining about taste or ingredient quality. I just expect honesty and accuracy in what the menu promises. Please serve the dishes as described.

Azul 18 Review: A 5-Star Ritual! ✨

Shoutout to Nayeli for her fantastic and friendly service—she’s the best! And can we please talk about the CHILAQUILES VERDES DE COCHINITA PIBIL?! I am obsessed! They are literally PERFECT and the reason I ALWAYS COME BACK!

Simply the best in every way.

Overall good experience. The turkey chorizo was not my favorite but was okay. The service was kind and attentive. We were seated by the door and on a cold and rainy day it was not too pleasant especially since other tables further from the door were open.

Tasty food, great staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. My mom is in a wheelchair and they have a ramp to enter. They helped us in. The bathroom has bars but is a tight space. The building is older so that’s why. The staff accommodated us as best they could with accessibility. Highly recommend the beignets and anything with turkey chorizo!! So good!

Azul 18 is one of the few proper restaurant in Pilsen that opens early serving you lunch menu items. I can depend on Azul 18 for a substantial meal when I’m out early. Lately my favorites are their blackened tilapia tacos and steak salad!

Super cute brunch spot. Busy but they kept moving fast enough that even on the weekend the wait wasnt bad. Lots of options, something for everyone. I had the veggie hash and it was excellent. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Fantastic service. Great spot!

We loved coming to Azul for the 6 days we were visiting Pilsen. We were greeted and seated quickly. The waitress was nice and attentive, the food was quick and delicious. I can’t wait to come back and visit soon. Don’t miss out on the carrot pancakes, they won’t disappoint!

Nice breakfast/brunch spot in Pilsen. Large menu, maybe 60/40 American vs. Mexican items. French toast was good, but the standout was the spicy chilaquiles.

I took my bf here for brunch after a night out on the town. I am not from Illinois, as I was visiting my bf, so I don’t know what it’s generally like at this establishment, but it smelled sorta like sewage upon entry/exit… while at our table, this was not the case thankfully. The food was good, but my omelette was presented as sautéed veggies, with an egg patty on top, drinks, not so much… I got a Bloody Maria & he got a Michelada. My Maria was okay, but my bf gets micheladas almost every time they’re offered at brunch… he didn’t enjoy it- I tried & neither did I, but I’ve never liked beer. To eat, all he’d gotten was the soup of the day bc he ate earlier with his fam (it was cream of spinach, & he was not hungry at all but finished it bc it was so good). Our waitress was pretty obviously new (I hope, bc otherwise yikes, as a former server), but super nice/shy. i know i judged harsh, but this place was great & I’d LOVE to come again when i visit Pilsen
