Tubby’s is a no-frills sub shop that’s been a local staple for ages. While the food does not scream “artisan” they make a good solid sub.
The main appeal of this chain is the sheer volume and variety of subs on the menu. It would certainly take a while to work your way through the menu! I have to mention as well that their french fries are excellent. Thin, hot and crispy with no extraneous seasoning.
I’ve been a couple of times and have been impressed by the friendly service. This is a nice change of pace over the unengaged and disinterested teenagers who normally work the counter at fast food shops. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

The Tubby’s Famous. Simple but Classic.
Fresh Bread, stuffed with thin cold cuts, cheese, just a little lettuce, onion & tomato. Dressed with that Tubby’s Famous dressing.
All ingredients by them selves are nothing fancy but all combined really does bring a smile to my face.

I called in about eight minutes before they were closing and try to place the order over the phone and they allow me to, but also they alter my order and made a platter for me in eight minutes I appreciate Savana and Jess they got me together fast and had my platter ready for me when I always know that you have to order an advance for a platter, but they went above and beyond and got the platter together for me fast.. thank you guys again..

I haven’t had a Philly Cheesesteak in over a year and this definitely Cheesesteak sandwich with Onion Rings definitely hit the spot. Sandwich was hot and fresh and the bread was so soft. Onion rings were tasty and cooked perfectly.

Takeout is probably the most popular option here, but they do have a small countertop with stools to sit on if you decide to eat in. My go to sub is the Tubbys famous but I also enjoy the steak and Cheddar sub. Both are great options if you need Choices.

I will never go to this place again. This was my second visit this month, and once again, the older lady who helps me was rude, as if she doesn’t want to be there. When I arrived, she was scolding the man in front of me. Additionally, my sub was ruined; I specifically ordered it without lettuce or tomato because I am allergic to tomatoes.

“I just devoured the Italian sub from Tubby’s and it was LOVE AT FIRST BITE! The freshly baked bread was soft and slightly crispy, holding together perfectly with the generous helping of salami, ham, and pepperoni. The melted provolone cheese added a rich and creamy touch, while the lettuce, tomato, and Italian dressing provided a refreshing crunch.
