Food was ok. Since we used to eat Thai food. We ordered salad, Tomyum soup with shrimp was ok. The Padkeemao has no basil at all. The service is kinda slow. We add rice however, it took 6minutes for the rice to be served and they were not even busy at that time. The like the brick wall and atmosphere and in the heart of downtown Bozeman.

Great food, good service. The black sticky rice was a great dessert for only $5.

I had one of my best thai food experiences at this place. We had veg spring rolls, shrimp in blanket, green curry, yellow curry and basil fried rice and we throughly enjoyed everything. No complaints. The star for sure was the mango sticky rice. Wonderful people and service. A must visit.

This place is a RIPOFF! Tiny portions, big prices. Spaghetti Larb Gai, $18.00 for a 2 cup serving of Thai pasta! Food is good but the tiny portions earned them 1 star. Also, when you order food to go, check it before you leave to see what you are getting.

We got it to go. They’re able to get a big order ready quickly and got the order correct too. The only complaint is that we ordered our soup “extra spicy” and a pad Thai type dish “Thai spicy” and neither one was spicy at all.

Hadn’t been to Rice in years. They now have a place on Oak St. The girl that took our order had a big smile on her face. Very friendly. Food was delicious as always. I didn’t realize they have a large take out crowd.

I enjoyed everything here. I’m a Thai myself but I can tell you this place is such a magnificent Thai restaurant like you eat in Thailand. Food is superb! Service and staff are wonderful. I would recommend it 100% You won’t regret it!

This is by far the worst Thai food I’ve ever eaten. I had to spit out the white rice. This place is called RICE. I never take the time to write reviews, but I’m doing it now so you don’t waste your money. I’ve eaten here three times. The food here was inedible every time. I’ve eaten Asian food all over the country. Folks who haven’t- don’t be fooled. This isn’t Thai food, or even food at all.

This is my response to you since it’s not letting me post another review.

Thanks for responding. I say “Asian food” to acknowledge the range of flavors I’ve tried and context I have when it comes to cross cultural Asian cuisine. I’ve had Thai food from “authentic recipes and ingredients” countless times in my life. Let me be more specific in my critique!

I had the green curry twice. Both times the curry sauce was a watery consistency, not a creamy one like the way the dish should be prepared. The flavor was also watered down. I asked for mid range heat, but that shouldn’t mean flavor is sacrificed. Also the chicken was very overcooked both times and there was very little veggies and chicken in the dish at all. The dish was mostly watered down curry sauce.

I had your summer roll which was essentially entirely made of lettuce. The lettuce to carrot/vermicelli ratio was about 5:1. No shrimp inside which the dish traditionally calls for. No bean sprouts in there either and the menu says there are bean sprouts. The peanut sauce was terribly thick with very large chunks of peanuts that was very unappetizing.

I had the Tom Kha Gai soup which was particularly disgusting. The chicken was very overcooked. There was a large film of oil on the top. Fish sauce is a flavor I am very familiar with, although this dish was entirely overpowered with fish sauce which made it inedible due to flavor and also salt content.

Two times I had your white rice it was either over or undercooked. Only one time was your rice cooked correctly and that is the one and only dish I ate from your restaurant that had any redeeming qualities.

Hope that is helpful!
