Might be best walk up and order burger in town. Great burger options. I had the queso burger, added pepper bacon and peppers- it was a huge mess-full of goodness. Great tasting patty cooked to order. The thick, crisp bacon is mildly spicy. Jalapeño bun was mildly spiced too and really fresh and tasty. Sweet potato fries were perfect.

If you got a reason to come to Abilene, Grump’s should be a part of it. Excellent food, excellent staff, and worth the wait EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I visit town. Very friendly and welcoming if you’re patient. They are typically busy lunchtime, but food’s worth the wait. Be patient when you come in and you’ll be rewarded with excellent grub.
