Food was as expected quality in a diner, the nachos and chili were decently good, but the nachos were disorganised and the cheese should have been more melted. The ingredients didnt really go that well togethet but the chili was good. Everything else met expectations but i dont recommend here for dinner, only for a quick and cheap breakfast and lunch

I really hate leaving negative reviews but this experience honestly left me feeling upset and discouraged. I’m currently in my first trimester of pregnancy and have been extremely sick, so I tried to order a simple chicken noodle soup through Uber Eats from this diner. Before placing the order, I called just to politely ask if the soup could be made plain because my stomach has been so sensitive.
Before I could even finish my sentence, the woman who answered cut me off and hung up on me. I called back, still trying to be polite, and explained that I wasn’t done speaking. Instead of helping, she told me I should order pickup so I “wouldn’t waste any more of her time” because they were busy. I explained that I’m staying at a resort and can’t pick up the order, but she continued to be incredibly rude and dismissive.
When you’re already feeling awful and just trying to get something small you can keep down, being treated like that is really disheartening. All I was asking for was basic kindness and customer service, and instead I was made to feel like an inconvenience. No customer deserves to be spoken to that way.

If you want crappy food and horrible service come to Sussex Queen Diner any time. You will be greeted by giggling rude waitress in rubber gloves and the food will be half rotten. Saggy and yellow salad with half gone cucumbers is a starter. Pink foam chicken is second course. Looked like chicken with pink hue and tasted nothing like chicken. When we told the waitress about bad food she said we ate too much and it will be impossible to comp it and then the best part – she said there is no free food in america and that we should go eat at a place we know and like, instead of going to this diner. Stay away!!!

Food is tolerable, it took them 20 min to make scrambled eggs when there was only 4 people in the diner. There is a large lack a cleanliness the bathrooms are the most unclean part of the entire diner. It was all decent just felt slightly uncomfortable after see the bathrooms.

Ordered the half roast , salad, and sides. Hear the waitress loudly say to cook “so we are out”.
She then five minutes later served my salad. When it was finished she returned with a menu and said “you have to order something different, we are out”. Had she told me that prior, I would have just gone elsewhere. The broiled chicken breast that I ordered as a replacement was bland, overcooked, and rubbery. Just a total disappointment. Oh and the coke I ordered. I was served a generic cola from a bottle because their machine was down. Depressing meal, pathetic actually.

simple food was not good at all, the cleanliness was lacking. we decided to order very simple menu and even simple eggs and home fries was not good. I ended up bringing home the home fries and cooking them because they were literally almost raw and cold. I don’t like to complain about restaurants because these days it’s very hard to keep anything going but they really need to try to do better in order to pull people in. the waitress of course was very polite
