I’m Chinese, and I like their food!! Me & my friend dined in on Tuesday @2:15pm, and we were asked to order quick bc they close for a break btwn @3:30-4:30pm on MON-FRI which wasn’t written on Google Maps so just beware of that!!!

Complimentary hot tea came out first. We ordered the garlic cucumber, scallion pancakes w/ beef slices, pork soup dumplings as the apps. Everything came out quick (maybe bc we were the only ones there), but we DEVOURED everything and it was sooo good.

For entrees we got the Taiwanese pork chop w/ rice, and Shredded Pork w/ Preserved Cabbage Noodle Soup? (雪菜肉丝面 in Chinese). Both were solid, especiallyyy the broth of the noodle soup, but all the appetizers were must-haves. The pork chop was fried nicely and was crispy.

Tried the Bund Breakfast Club today after reading good reviews from Facebook. Breakfast runs from 6-11am. Ordered the Hungry Bund (French toast, eggs, corn beef hash, free coffee/tea). It was delicious and staff were friendly. Highly recommend! The Bund’s lunch and dinner menu is delicious too.

New diner style breakfast option in Forest Hills opens from 6-11 am only in this Asian/sichuan restaurant. Pancakes were delicious and good coffee with your breakfast platter.

Better options in the area. This restaurant doesn’t even sell egg drop soup in a regular sized container (both delivery and in-person). Instead they only sell the soup in a large container so they can somehow justify charging $10.95 for egg drop soup (which isn’t even a hearty soup). Not a good business and I will not be ordering from this restaurant online or in person.

I should also mention that the quality of the food isn’t particularly good here (I ordered here over a period of 3-4 years for lack of better options). I highly recommend Spy C, which is much tastier and better quality.

Their crispy chicken is just fried chips with very little chicken most pieces are just fried batter and their wontons are 90% noodle, 10% stuffing. Someone there is prioritizing profits over quality which makes me suspicious of their approach with other items on the menu.

** I have to update my review based on our 1/23/26 visit.**

We came to celebrate my birthday since it’s nearby and I had a craving for soup dumplings.

The service was not like before and the woman who took care of us had an attitude. It seemed like she had a lot of to go orders to prep but that shouldn’t affect her attitude towards dine in customers.

My major complaint was not about the service but about the soup dumplings. We ate a total of 6 orders of soup dumplings which included one truffle flavored one. We agreed that the truffle flavor was a lot less than when we had them previously so we didn’t order more. The most disappointing thing as you can see in the photos were that the dumplings were placed haphazardly in the baskets and they stuck together. So what happens when we separate them? They broke and soup leaked all over! Thats the last thing we want when eating soup dumplings. Every basket came out like that. I don’t know what they were thinking.. they just didn’t care at all.

This used to be my go to for celebrations but I don’t know if I’ll return.

4 stars previously

This is my family’s go to place for soup dumplings in Queens without having to go into Flushing. You can’t go wrong with the soup dumplings!

We also ordered rice cakes, crispy chicken and the pan fried soup buns on our last visit and while the rice cakes were delicious, I wouldn’t order the chicken or pan fried buns again. Chicken had no flavor and the buns had a very thick outside with not enough flavor inside.

Service is always great and if you pay in cash for a $35+ check, you get one order of soup dumplings free. 4 stars for other menu items but def 5 stars for the soup dumplings!

The Bund is easily one of my favorite spots in Astoria. The soup dumplings are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made, and everything comes out hot and fast. The staff is friendly, the space is cozy, and the food is consistently delicious. If you’re craving great dumplings, this is the place.

Food and service was good. Our waitress refill our water a few times without asking and was always there when we wanted to add another dish. The Xiao Long Bao had thin skin and soup was tasty. The rice cake was a bit too salty but good. The Ma Po tofu and double cook pork was also very tasty. Worth a try if you’re in the neighborhood or want to try a new shanghainese place.
