A great small town bar/restaurant. You feel small town Wisconsin when you walk in.
Friday fish was amazing. Service was quick (we went at 4:30) and pricing was good.

I love the variety of food and beverage available, and they accommodate reasonable requests. Very welcoming atmosphere. Bartenders are super friendly. Just a great place to hang out. My out of town friend makes it a point to visit when she comes around because she loves it as well.

Stopped by while in town for a bachelor party. Food was excellent and service was great too. They were busy but still took our group of 8 in right away and our waitress was very good. I had the Chicken Philly and it was great, fries were excellent too. Great place in a great small town.

Thursday my mom and her friend brought me to lunch here, they had lunched here a couple months ago on a Thursday while in town. They were very excited about $3 burgers! We each built our own and opted for different sides. Our server was very helpful w my mom trying to pick a beer. It wasn’t mentioned to us until I asked as we were departing… the popcorn machine is help yourself. She did suggest we take a boat to go, we declined. There is a decent beer selection; busch to several craft selections. I was intrigued by the Apple Bacon Beans side, but opted for tots. I was curious about a bottle of ranch on the tables! Is it that common? The food good, server was great, the ambiance quiet and comfortable and parking was easy. Do I want to say Stockyard is… kitchy….? Maybe…. I liked that the front door was a metal fuel pump handle, there is an antique cabinet in the dining area and the tin lower walls in the bar. It’s a fun vibe. I didn’t think to take a picture but they grill their burger buns… yum! Thanks Sockyard for a fun and delicious lunch!

The bartender was nice and cheerful. We got our drinks right away. They sat us right by the smoking area door, which was not pleasant. Don’t get me wrong, I realize people have bad days, but our waitress was unfriendly, and it’s like it was a chore to wait on us. We ordered cheesecurds, and they were hollow. They must have left them in the fryer too long. Our onion rings tasted like fish. So they must fry their fish and other foods in the same fryer. Our house salads and dressings were warm and also the salad bowls. I ordered my steak medium well and came medium rare. Told the waitress, and she didn’t do anything. She left all the dirty dishes from our salad bowls to our appetizer plates on our table. Overall, the experience was 2 thumbs down. Sorry Stockyard, hopefully our next trip to your place will be a better experience!

I went to see a band so I didn’t eat here. I spent the night trying to find a place to put my drink, coat and purse while I was dancing. The place was packed full and there was literally nowhere to sit. It’s a nice enough venue for music but be prepared to stand all night. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the decor is nice especially if you like to hunt or fish. I’d like to go again and try their food, but I’d be afraid I’d have to juggle my food and drink if I wanted to see the entertainment.

What an amazing find in a little town. We were going through town and stopped for lunch where all the cars were. The food and service was great. We started with the succulent bacon wrapped cheese curds with a Chipotle dipping sauce…yum. The lefse wraps were very good too. The homemade Mac and cheese was very creamy.
