They removed the duck breast from my order of a whole duck. The box was mostly skin and bones. The woman said she chose a larger duck for me. Scams and lies, served.
They used older, rougher cuts of beef for their beef stir-fry noodles. The noodles had clumps on it from their failure to mix the cornstarch well. Disgusting.

I guess they opened a month ago and nobody mentioned it. I didn’t notice till they have a big grand opening sign. Excited we got 2 chinese BBQ restaurants in Sugar Land now. It is not a big place only 5 tables but i think most people come here for the takeout.

I ordered 2 lunch box; duck and half char siu and half crispy pork. The duck was pretty good, not as juicy as Chung Wang in Katy or that place in Wilcrest but pretty good. The char siu and crispy pork was good. The price is almost the same as Chung Wang in in Katy. As a matter of fact, i believe the owner came from Chung Wang in Katy.

They also have lot of noodles on menu. I will try those in the future.

Pretty good and i will definitely come back. They are running a special 10% off for grand opening right now.

Superb pork and duck! Pricing is more than fair. My wife is Cantonese and she gives it an A+ for authenticity! We definitely will return.

It’s not a large restaurant, maybe 4-5 tables, not a ton of space for a large group to dine in. Casual dine-in environment with self-serve water, and food is served in to-go containers. All plates and cutlery offered for dine-in are disposable plastic/styrofoam. They seem to run out of some meats quickly, so you might call ahead to see what they have in case you are looking for something specific.

We ordered the crispy pork belly, roast duck, garlic green beans, beef chow fun, and shrimp rice noodles. Everything was good, but our favorite was the pork belly which was tender and had nice crispy skin.

I was so excited that a roast duck bbq open in my area. I went on Sunday during lunchtime. It s a small place with 5 tables and bar seating. It was busy but person working the register and packing food was quick to take my take togo order. I ordered two rice bbq bento. One with three meat and the other with two meats. I requested roast duck for each bento. The lady informed me that there’s a 20 min wait for the roasted duck. I didn’t mind waiting 20 mins if that means I’ll get hot and fresh roasted duck. Around the 30 min mark my order was not done yet. The lady told me it’s gonna be a few mins more. I finally got my order close to the 40 minute mark.
When I got home I was excited to eat. The togo boxed had some weight to them but when I opened them I was disappointed. It was mostly rice and cabbages. The meat portions was small and cut of the duck was awful. No meat on the small 5 pieces of duck just bones.
The pork belly skin was not crispy and meat was dry.
The pork belly also only came with 5 pieces. The bbq pork didn’t have a taste to it.
Rice was dry.
Overall it was pricey and small portions for what I paid for. Very disappointed in the portions and price. It was too good to be true thinking this will save me a drive to Bellaire for roast duck. But not impressed with how this place is and will still go to Bellaire to get roasted duck

Very good Cantonese food in Sugar Land! The place is called Wong BBQ and it’s located next to Wellfresh market.

The soy sauce chicken is very tasty and the congee is also very good. The lady who runs the place is very nice and always smiling. Give it a try.

This is a new Chinese BBQ in Sugar Land. The roasted meats were great, the owners super friendly. We ate in, but easy to do take out.

So I ordered duck and beef rice noodle at this place. I ate a lot of ducks in Chinese restaurants and this place is probably the worst. The duck doesn’t have much meat on there. It doesn’t taste good either. The beef rice noodle was horrible. The beef was tough and had corn starch taste all over it. I would never go back to this place.

Ordered half fat half lean bbq pork(半肥瘦叉燒) as you can see the pictures, dry as pork jerky. Taste like vinegar pork more than og bbq pork
