I’m just kinda aggravated at the staff/ management on duty at Big H today, I stop at this local restaurant at least 2 times a month spending 50.00 or more each time sometimes more. So I don’t know why they had different potato salad this time but they did it is clearly not the same as I usually get. Anyway, I called to alert the staff of this because it’s completely different and instead of talking kindly and understanding instead she accused me of lying it is the same as always so here are some pictures to show that I was not lying and they clearly are not the same

I hate leaving negative reviews but I’m sorry , I ordered a BLT it was just a thick slice of tomato, a sprinkling of lettuce and 4 slices of the thinnest bacon I’ve ever seen, it was supposed to be on a hoagie roll but they ran out,I had no issue with that but if that was what would have been on a roll that’s even worse, the wife got a smoked brisket hoagie. I would easily have given 5 stars for the food. It was EXCELLENT!!! This was my first time visiting this hidden gem. BUT!!!!! The first thing I noticed was they had a menu posted with no prices. That was a red flag for me. I waited awhile for my order. A older lady took care of me. No smile, no thank you, no response. She told me the price and noticed immediately it was rounded to the nearest dollar. Today, I went back. The food again was great! I was curious on what they were going to charge me. Sure enough it was different than the last time I went. The difference wasn’t much at all. However, it’s the point of it that this woman was dishonest. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars. No prices posted. And dishonest employee.

This is some of best barbecue I’ve ever had. Burnt ends and ribs were best. The brisket and pulled pork was okay. The onion rings and fried green tomatoes were remarkable. DELICIOUS!!!!

We had our daughter’s wedding catered by Big H this past weekend, the food was delicious! The guests loved the charcuterie board, and the staff were so friendly, and so helpful! Best decision! Love this place.

Had a really good BBQ pork sandwich and onion rings. Good food!! The dining room is currently closed, but they have a walk-up window where you can order. There are tables set up along the covered porch to eat at, weather permitting.
