With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

These are supposed to be the same 2 drinks and one even has a bean at the bottom. I’ve already emailed corporate to which I didn’t respond because there just trying save face. This location is a complete joke, it’s the closet location to my house so I tend to go here which is the only location I have a problem with about once a week. Spending several hundreds dollars a month for corporate functions we will now be switching another company hence forth.

Sat in line for 15 minutes with only two cars ahead of us got to the window the girl didn’t seem like she new what she was doing still waited another like 5 more minutes or longer for them to hand me my bagel and two drinks, which were just iced beverages… forgetting my sisters small smoothie which I then had to wait for them to make mind you there’s like 5 girls in there all chatting and not really paying attention just talking…. I hate leaving reviews but was just kind of crazy when I saw how many people were in there and it took that long and they almost forgot to charge us. Super-friendly, fast service! Yummy coffee! If you’re not a rewards member and plan on using a card don’t forget to bring a little extra cash to tip these amazing baristas!! They cannot accept tips via card. Only cash or if you are signed up for their rewards program. P.S. They have puppy treats

This has got to be the worst Human Bean location. It took over 10 minutes to have 2 drinks made, the employees were so confused and asked me to pay again after I had already paid. They asked me to repeat my order 3 times. TRAIN YOUR STAFF WHO WORKED AT 5:30 PM ON WEDNESDAY (11/14). And the drinks were watery. Shame on your management.

I got the Java Chip and it was spot on it tasted just like how it was supposed to taste and I love that they have different options for milk that you can put into your drink I got coconut milk cuz I’m lactose intolerant and it still made it taste no different than the original
