I’m not sure why this place is still marked as Uk on Google Maps. I don’t think it was ever called that. It has changed ownership and now it is Pop’s Drive Thru. I’ve been to the location on Baker and Kentucky many times and this one is just as good. The burgers are good, the bacon is nice and thick, and i really enjoy the crinkle fries. My only issue is they are a bit slow, i mean with good reason, they make everything to order, but that can be frustrating if you have a short lunch. what i have found is that if i call in my order before i leave, by the time i get there, it is done. This makes it quite fast.

Simple little drive in spot. Hesitated on giving a review, but now that I have visited several times I feel comfortable saying that it’s really incredible food. Everything is fairly simple recipes and ingredients but prepared with a lot of love and attention. The quality of ingredients is great. Buns are soft and fresh. Meat is tender, juicy, and well cooked. They have THE BEST chicken nuggets I’ve ever tasted anywhere. I specifically travel my son across town to get some.

I bit into my pastrami sandwich and there was a hair, I tried calling and was hung up on 6 times. It’s expensive too so definitely not worth it. Save your money and go to in n out.

I cannot praise this place enough. But I will say this. My ENTIRE life ive hated pastrami. Every time I’ve had it, it’s been dry and wet at the same time. But ANYTIME I go to Bakersfield, I am stopping here to get some chili cheese pastrami fries!!!!

Stopped by on my way home from county building. And Frosty king made the trip a success. Friendly accurate service even though they were training a new girl at register , they even treated her with respect while training her and not degrading to her and not taking forever on my order. Not even messing up my special request. Changed my mind and decided to eat there instead of on the road , the place and atmosphere clean and relaxing. The food was another story- sike- the burger was juicy and Awesome great fries great with extra seasoning salt. And they serve PEPSI so extra stars for that. Price was great and not a rip off and size of servings were big. So in summary a great meal and smile after the screwing at the county clerk’s office ..
