This is an amazing place to see at least once if you are in Cortez. What a place to sit and enjoy your coffee. We preferred to sort of roam not just inside the cafe but outside as well to notice and all the art displayed there. The popping Colors of paintings and great staff will make you fell home like nothing else. It’s at the quieter side of this town but for good reason. Even when roaming outside the cafe, you won’t feel much disturbance. If I’ll be in Cortez again, I’ll definitely want to visit this place. I hope your experience here also turns up to be a great one!

I was in Cortez for a few days and came here everyday. Alexis is such a sweet and kind person. The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting and the coffee is very good. You’re surrounded by local and native art, it’s wonderful. Will absolutely come back.

So glad we stopped here and sad we were in a rush and couldn’t stay longer. The chai latte is good and you can taste the spice without being overwhelming. Aaron has a wealth of knowledge on the history of indigenous people and I could have stayed for hours picking his brain. Admittedly, I never found indigenous history that interesting or engaging, but my trip to Mesa Verde and conversation with Aaron has sparked a fascination and desire to learn more. Come for the coffee and stay for the exhibits, conversation, and the bookstore. Highly recommended if you want to learn more about the history of the area.
