Such a gem of a local spot!
Everything is so delicious with fresh ingredients. Also, the iced latte is easily one of the best around.
It’s clearly a popular place, so the food can take a little while to come out—but honestly, it’s worth the wait for the quality you get.
I’ll be back on a ‘slow’ morning when I can just soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a long, lazy brunch. Haha!

Amazing breakfast place. We were eating at another favorite restaurant here for breakfast and we asked the server what restaurants were similar and she turned us to the French way. She suggested that the butter croissants are not to be missed.
We loved the salmon, eggs, Benedict and the pecan pear, blue cheese salad, and the yogurt bowl with granola and fruit compote on top. The hashbrowns were delicious. The pumpkin slice from the bakery case was incredible. We really liked the blueberry carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Not too sweet. The blueberries were so fresh and yummy contrast. Their cinnamon rolls and garlic toast and sourdough are yummy. Highly recommend. Yum!!!

One of my absolute favorite restaurants off Corydon! Such a gorgeous establishment with a delightful selection of baked goods and drinks. Their main menu and service never disappoint, I could spend a whole afternoon here and be totally content.

This quiet little cafe tucked in the middle of Corydon avenue is one of Winnipeg’s hidden gem. They open at 7 in the morning for all those commuter heading to work and early morning meetings with clients. They a wonderful selection of fresh artisanal breads and pastries for people on the go. The French way has a chic dining area where they have good selection of hearty meals.
It was a date breakfast with my wife and daughter and we started off with 2 cups of coffee and a glass of water for the little one.
I ordered the tuna melt on crispy croissant and the cauliflower soup that goes with it the whole dish was delectable and the soup was nice and creamy and just hits the spot.
Saki, my wife, picked the salmon benny with side of home fries.it was a delightful!! The salmon was perfectly cured, topped of with perfect poached eggs and hollandise sauce was just right.
Lily, our daughter, chose the crest your own omelette with mushroom , cheddar nd green onion;toasted sourdough, jam and side house salad.for 9 year old girl, she chowed down that plat with no effort. She just wanted to save some for inch later.
We also brought home a loaves of whole grain sourdough and a white loaf sour dough.
Prices were reasonable, food was delicious, servers are lovely!!
We will definitely come back.

Ordered their pastry catering platter for a party, I found it very reasonably priced and we were given a generous amount. Everything was delicious, communication was prompt when ordering. Definitely will be doing this again in the future! I would only say order a bit less than you think you need, we had SO many leftovers (not that this was a bad thing.)

Went here with some friends, it’s a very nice cafe with a homey atmosphere. The wait staff were very polite and accommodating to all needs. I was underwhelmed by the price to value for the food. Though the food was worth while the $21 price tag for a simple black coffee and 2 slices of topped French toast makes me weary to come back.

I had the Turkey, Cranberry, Brie crepes today- so delicious!
My friends created their own omelettes and were very happy as well.
The baked goods selections are amazing but we chose to control our sweet toothes.
We totally enjoyed our server Alana- she is a real sweetheart.

Came in with my daughter and the cafe was very busy. We asked the person at the til if we should order at the til and she said no they do table service and then pointed at a table and said you can sit. We sat down and saw another server bring waters to and take orders from 2 other tables that were seated after us. I asked that server if we could atleast have some water and she said sure but your not my table. Then she asked the person who sat us take us and she came over with attitude exclaiming how busy they were. Regardless we chose to stay and we ordered the Benedict and a French toast both of which tasted very good. Definitely some training opportunities for management to work on with the staff.
