I stumbled upon this place after getting my hair done in the eddy center and i was glad i did !!!!! First of all the owner is a very nice man! I arrived a little early but not once did he say anything about it he said he was gonna take care of me anyways i wasnt to early but it was before they opened let me just say everything was 10/10 the portion size were very generously sized and the pulled pork has such an amazing flavor it was so tender and good i live all the way in port huron and do not hesitate to make a pickup order anytime i feel like treating myself to some good food

They catered our wedding and it was to die for! Honestly they had something for every person. We had a vegetarian, an individual with celiacs, and young kids. Everyone was very happy with their meal. We got so many compliments on the food! They were such great communicators, they absolutely nailed their delivery, and the price was fantastic too! I would choose BRB again and again. Amazing food and amazing people and service!!

I’m not sure what i enjoyed less from Big River Barbecue – the ribs and brisket that tasted like the “pitmaster” threw a couple pieces of cardboard in the smoker and slathered it in barbecue sauce (which was a great barbecue sauce – surely store bought), or the abysmal customer service that somehow was of less quality than the food itself.

My wife and I chose Big River BBQ as the catering vendor for our wedding. Our big day featured a good amount of vegan/vegetarian guests, along with a ton of meat eaters. Big River was able to accommodate both groups with unbelievably delicious options, and service with a smile. We still have guests from the wedding raving about the food almost a month later! The staff worked with my wife and I leading up to the wedding the whole way, managing the menu, getting food costs, and nailing down logistics so on the day we didn’t have to worry at all.
We want to highlight Big River’s expertise, customer service, and truly appreciate them offering vegan options so everyone could be included! Thank you all again.
