Great place to rest your head and have a few drinks. We stayed in the Hotel and was given their “honeymoon suite” apartment since we have dogs. Our suite was very large and very comfy. There are many other rooms with a shared common area. The bar was a fun atmosphere. There was a guy who played live music the first night. The bartenders are sometimes super busy but they are very attentive and the drinks were always perfect. The bar serves food and we ate their every day. Food was amazing and the little town was inviting and friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an inexpensive nature get away!

Me and my guys came to Montana for work (living in Hawaii). Coldest place ever. With a job site in Medicine lake there were no hotels to be found in December. The owners did us the favor of opening up the hotel for us. It was a little spooky at first in the middle of the country in a blizzard (below zero) in a nearly empty town …. but the owners were able to make us feel comfortable- even offering to sell us the place so they could escape to Miami. If the offer was still up today, I’d take it … beautiful winter town… bar.. hotel.. what else could you ask for

It’s been 14 years since I’ve been in this place but I do remember that it’s the best food in town and the best drinks. If Marilyn is still there you couldn’t ask for better service.
