A group of us went to Summit for a retreat, and there was high praise about In Da Mixx, so we went and gave this establishment a try.
We are glad we did! It’s a small restaurant, but the service is BIG!! The owner is hands-on, and she took excellent care of our group. She was very patient with our group and very friendly.
The restaurant was clean and comfortable. The restroom was very clean, looks freshley painted.
The food was excellent. It was very tasty, everyone enjoyed their meal. Personally, I tried the cornbread waffle with collards, and to my surprise, it came with a piece of fish. I judge the fish by if I need to put ketchup. Well, this fish was delicious just the way it was. No ketchup is needed, which is a high rating in my book.
I would highly recommend this spot when looking for an eatery. I will definitely be back in the near future.

Wonderful owner, staff, food, and atmosphere. This place is criminally unknown and underrated. Quality is exuded from every aspect of this restaurant. Highly recommended for it’s different menu with familiar favorites.

The greens & waffle cornbread were great! The fish may have been greasy too if it was the type of fish that I eat! The environment was extremely nice and clean! The employees were the best I’ve come in contact with in YEARS! I would def recommend this business

The three ( 3 ) stars come from the fish. Otherwise; . Let’s get started. * I had called in my order & the nice lady immediately uphold me on cornbread muffins for a extra .50 cents. When I got home & opened the box, the cornbread muffin WAS crumbled in a plastic storage bag. They were ALSO hard & lacking of flavor.
The hush puppies as well WERE small But MORE importantly lacking of any substantial flavor.
The Butterfly shrimp was my big DISSAPPOINTMENT. I’ve eaten enough seafood in my 67yrs to know the Difference between Fresh & processed.. you can tell by looks and taste. A Fresh butterfly Shrimp will curl when frying. THESE shrimp were SMALL, Flat & flavorless EXCEPT for a tale tale taste from a ingredient used in processed foods.. … ….
The FISH WAS of GENEROUS PORTION & was Flaky and moist. Lastly, my side was Collard Greens of sufficient portions.
In looking through the menu, I was deciding If I saw something in addition to what I ordered and ate today WHICH would inspire me to return ? Sadly, regretfully,.. … no.

Several families from our ball team, probably about 20 of us in total, ate here for lunch after our first game. The restaurant was very clean, the service (the family that owns and runs it) was quick and very friendly, and the food was amazing! We actually chose this restaurant because another family that ate there the day before recommended it to us. Highly recommend!!

Came in on business trip. Looking for place to eat spotted it out the corner of my eye, turned around, pulled up and had the best service in a long while. Food was great! I recommend asking what the house suggests for eating. The cornbread waffles are a neat twist to cornbread, but man it was good.

1st time and DEFINITELY going back. Very friendly lady greeted me in the drive thru. The freshness and taste of the food was top notch! Even the tea! I dont buy packaged teas like at a convenience store they taste weird. This was fresh homemade with a quality brand! The quantity and quality are exceptional especially for the price!

I have nothing but good things to say about not only the food, the environment but also the owners. From the time you walk in they make you feel just like family. They take their time to explain the menu and let you know how everything is prepared. The food came out fast and it was absolutely delicious. I will make it a point to always visit this establishment anytime I am in the area. I cannot say enough good things about this experience.

We enjoyed every bite! My daughter loved the Monte Cristo, and the Cornbread Waffle w/greens and fish was enough for 2 people. We will definitely stop in whenever we’re in the area.
