Tried this new Middle Eastern spot that opened about two months ago and it was a great experience. We ordered the $49 family platter, two adults and one toddler couldn’t finish it, and we even had plenty left over for dinner. Definitely great value for money.
The food was delicious. The hummus and fattoush were especially outstanding. Pretty sure the hummus and sauces are homemade. Everything on the platter was cooked to perfection and I genuinely liked every single item. Even the Arabic flatbread was fresh and tasty.
It’s a familyowned local Halal restaurant and the owners are very friendly and welcoming.
The only thing I’d suggest is installing a better kitchen vent. Some smoke made its way into the dining area while we were eating. Other than that, it was a wonderful meal. We’ll definitely be back.

The food is very good. The shish chicken and beef kebab are so yummy. The grape leaves are among the best ive tasted in the states. Vert generous portion sizes! The owner is very nice and service is great! I dont usually leave reviews unless something really catches my eye.

We tried Smoked Halal Food for the first time tonight! Very nice and humble people, they’ve been open for a couple weeks, bringing their taste of Syria to Utica!
We ordered the Family Meal, added grape leaves and Baba Ganouj total was around $82. Everything was fantastic! Enough food for probably 4-6 adults! Look them up and give them a try!

Ate a nice meal here! The food is authentic, it brought me back to my time in the Middle East. The atmosphere is homey and the friendly owner even offered me a free dessert for my patronage. I’m rarely in Utica but I would love certainly eat here again.
