I have eaten here twice in the last week. Both times it has been really good. I had the Sweet and Sour Shrimp and my wife had the Mongolian Beef. We ordered the lunch special which is $9.65 each.
The portions are very large. We both get practically 2 full meals each. And it comes with chicken fried rice which I like a lot better than plain rice.
We also ordered 2 egg rolls. They were very good and pretty large. I don’t remember the price of the egg rolls.
I think Ma’s is a really good value.
The restaurant is only for carryout. There are no tables.

Great tiny joint for fast Chinese take out made to order. So you will need to wait. But the food is delicious, big portion for $11 lunch. Can’t miss this spot.

Whenever I try a new old style chinese restaurant, I get shrimp with lobster sauce and bbq pork something, like bbq pork fried rice or vegetables, etc.
Shrimp with lobster sauce is a very nostalgic food for me. It was something I tried 15~ish years ago from this small chinese restaurant near work. It was $5.45 lunch specials at the time, and I wanted to try something other than monglian beef, generals Tsao chicken etc.
And i fell in love ever since.
I love brown starch sauce that is made with, and it needs to have black beans and stripes of pork and egg. But some restaurants tend to make this with white sauce with pea and ground pork, or just not enough salt or msg.
Well, this place make it perfectly how I wanted, and less than 9 bucks. You can’t beat this deal.
The only thing to critize is that chicken fried rice was not good…it was dry and maybe a day old.
Bbq pork was also really good, cut thick the way I also like it. You can taste rice oyster sauce, and vegetables were cooked well.
It definitely reminded me of the old spot that I loved and will be coming back to try more dishes.

There’s Not Too Many Good Suburb Chinese Take-Out Restaurants. This One Is Actually Pretty Good As Far As Pricing && Taste. I Ordered The L-08 Sweet and Sour Chicken Lunch Special with My Rice Fried Spicy && the Sweet n’ Sour Sauce Placed On The Side. The Portions Are A Good Size For All (Chicken, Rice, && Sauce). Everything Was Fresh n’ Hot. As Far As Customer Service, The Lady Who Answered My Call && Prepared My Order Upon Arrival Was Quiet Yet Pleasant. Everything In My Order Was Correct && Prepped The Way I Requested It. As For Atmosphere, It’s Very Clean && Quiet. You Can Only Here The Clicking n’ Clacking of The Pots && Pans. There is Only Seating Available To Wait For Your Food && No Options To Dine In. Which Is Okay Because I’d Still Order From Here Again.

Great portions and reasonably priced! I appreciate the cleanliness and simplicity of this quaint establishment. They’re carryout only, quick and easy to order, and a wide selection of options. It’s too bad other individuals find their food flavorless…it’s because its prepared with no msg and aiming for that less salt flavoring. At least in our opinion, the food was absolutely delicious and very grateful they chose to really pack in the food. As you can see from the photos tagged, they do not cheat you with the amount of food you paid for.
**Best to call and order ahead**

Ma’s has excellent food and top notch service. They are willing to work with special requests such as No MSG or Add Pineapple. The prices are inexpensive and the serving sizes are perfect for people who are looking to have leftovers. They are definitely one of my favorite Chinese takeout spots.

I was craving Chinese and wanted to try something in the area. This place did not disappoint. Called my order and was ready in 10 mins for pick up. No hassle. Food was great and at a great price. Where else can you eat under $10?

I don’t like giving bad reviews but honest reviews are what I look for. I ordered the pad Thai with tofu for dinner. Only one size for dinner was the large. It was $12 which was a great price in the times we’re living in for the amount of food received. Upon entering the business, the employee at the front was less than friendly. I did arrive about 30 minutes before close, so I’m sure they were tired but there was no interaction at all. The food smelled yummy and was hot but was completely flavorless. These was absolutely nothing but a ton of noodles, a few small slices of tofu, a few slices of white onion, a few sprouts, a bit of crushed peanuts and 2 small lime slices. No other veggies at all (scallions, carrots, etc). I wasn’t expecting incredible but I would give the pad Thai a zero. The only reason for the 2 star review for the food is due to the price not being sky high.

We stopped in thinking we could dine in. Its delivery or carry out only. We ordered the General Taos chicken, Mongolian beef and a order of egg rolls. Both lunch entrees were ok. Wasnt a fan of the beef gravy. Has to and pepper and salt for flavor. Chicken was ok. Not too flavored. The veggies were the spicy part of the meal. The egg rolls were very big. BUT note there is shrimp in them. Paid $21 for all 3.
