Bar Bar, so good they named it twice. Haha.
It is a nice chill spot to meet up with friends for a couple of beers. We ordered food. I ended up getting a basic burger with American cheese. It hit the spot for bar food. Also mushrooms were ordered too but failed to get a photo.

This place is great! The staff were very nice, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere was great and I really appreciated the contrast of the dark, moody, indoor seating, versus the bright, warm, outdoor seating. Our party all got the Combo #3 which I feel like is a great deal! The cheeseburger was very delicious. Juicy, cheesy, great textures all around. I upgraded to the Cajun fries and they were bomb! The normal fries are really good too. I feel like Bar Bar has perfected what they do! Simplistic but leaves a long lasting impression. Two thumbs up!

A pretty damn good burger, shoe string fries, light fluffy beer batter onion rings and the fried ravioli is on point! Everything hot and fresh! FYI bacon is very cooked and crispy, pretty sure it was deep fried.

They took town my precious review so I’ll post the short version.
This bouncer has serious power trip and anger problems if you look through low star reviews they’re all the same guy and he is always accusing people of being too drunk when they’re not.
Some (like me) were completely sober as we were DD but I was still accused of being intoxicated and left the bar while they let All of our female friends go through no questions asked. The bar isn’t good enough to deal with that kind of crap to get in.
Avoid the bar as much as you can there better of everything on the strip and no ride power tripping bouncer.

Service was a walk-up order situation at the bar and the bartender assisted us getting the most bang for our buck as well as beer recs; easy.
Sat outside in their wonderful space and the food was ran out quickly.
The burger had a unique and simple presentation with a pickle on the toothpick which was a nice visual touch. Dug in and the fries seemed to be the star of the show and not the burger…truly missed the mark on flavor and wasn’t much of an experience.

My friends and I visited this place for some food last night to celebrate New Year’s. When we reached the door, one of our party members was denied entry. He has a medical condition that prevents him from drinking, while the other person was allowed in. During our conversation, the second person mentioned that he had been drinking, but the first person had not. Consequently, he switched who he would allow entry to, simply because the second person said he had been drinking. Upon reviewing past reviews, it appears that this “bouncer” has some difficulty understanding what constitutes intoxication. — no name tags of course but it’s guy with the bull septum ring cause he probably wants to appear like one.

Going through Portland to return back to Seattle and stopped in to Bar Bar for their burger (it’s burger week I guess). I know this is a picture of chicken tenders but they were AMAZING! They definitely were not drenched in oil and batter. Super fresh and great tasting and their fries ARE SO DAMN GOOD. The place is really clean and has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating available. I’d definitely recommend hitting this place up for food and drink.

Really weird experience with their “bouncer”. As I was walking up my friend who is sober (and has epilepsy) was accused of being “drunk” and refused service to the bar. I asked the bouncer what was going on because I was very confused why he was picking on my friend. Two ladies at this same time walked out of Bar Bar stumbling over each other enough that they ran into me – not a peep from the bouncer. He accused me of yelling (I was not lol) and said no entry for my sober friend so we left. Incredibly unprofessional service. Additionally, this was an hour from closing and the bar was not at capacity – we have no idea why this happened.

Pretty chill around lunch time, but a really good burger and the cocktails were great. Asked for a Last Word and they knew exactly what it was. Big patio is a plus, but the pros of the outdoor space can be a con when someone is smoking somewhere and it’s just getting sucked in. Otherwise, a great cocktail joint.

Order at the bar and take your number to your table. We sat outside near an eclectic collection of stickers, cool breezes, and started people watching haha.
My friend got a burger and the potato cheese bites and I got a veggie burger and fried pickles. We were both real hungry, but our side portions were pretty generous. We almost finished it all! The lemon cbd soda was a great addition and nice substitute for alcohol as neither of us are drinkers.
