The best! These are our favorite treats, and this location has the best customer service! Highly recommend. We have loved pelican snowballs for years, but our Winston Salem location did not open this summer. We made the trip to Mocksville, but arrived over an hour too early before they opened. The owner happened to be there, and although he did not have to, he went above and beyond, and allowed us to order. What incredible customer service!!

I think Cindy’s snow creamery has spoiled us because this place was just not it. Needs some kind of shelter from the sun. The customer service was very lacking with no customer acknowledgement. This is so far from the snow cream we’re use to. It just tasted like ice not snow. The flavors were very very mild. Took 10-15 minutes to get 2 things and I got so hot I felt sick after eating. Just happened to be near it and thought we would get the same customer service and product we’re use to and we didn’t.

My family and I love Pelicans! It’s such a great place to have in Our little home town to go and enjoy a sweet treat on a hot day or even in the cooler months from time to time. Only reason we aren’t giving a full 5 stars is only due to the fact their spoons cut our lips every single time we order a snowball! We end up having sore lips for a few days afterwards. So we have just started bringing our own spoons when we know we are going for our favorite sweet treat!

Waited in line for over 30 min, only 1 person inside. Ordered 2 large stuffed, had a VERY SMALL scoop of ice cream. Ordered pina colada and blue bubblegum, gave me raspberry!! Both of them had no flavor, taste what so ever and the raspberry had lots of ice that wasn’t even covered. I will drive the extra 15 min and go to Cindy’s Creamery in Clemmons. I’ve never had any issues there.

Update- thankfully the Franchise owner messaged me and was very kind and gave me a refund on the order and said they are sorry that’s not how they are in their business. Very thankful he reached out right away and helped me .

Visited the evening of 10/4. I’ve been used to chunky ice snoballs where the flavor eludes half the ice and becomes meh within a minute or two. This was not the case at Pelicans. The shaved ice is nearly perfect and had flavor throughout the entire serving with a nice little pool of goodness at the bottom. Will be returning again.

The snowballs are very good. But it takes them 5-10 minutes to make one snowball. If there’s a line be prepared to wait a long long time. Pelican’s need to learn the power of speed!!
