Great as always. The owner is a very nice guy. I just wanted a simple bologna sandwich and it was fantastic. The jalapeño bread is next level. And don’t forget about the pinto beans. They are always good. Today was a beautiful day and I enjoyed my lunch on the patio with plenty of shade . I’ll be back

The food has good seasoning, and if you enjoy the sandwich-style concept, most of the dishes are presented that way. However, despite the decent flavor, the overall experience did not fully satisfy us. The portions and presentation did not match the price paid, and we felt that the value was not aligned with what we received. While the idea behind the menu is clear and consistent, the cost creates higher expectations that were not completely met. It may appeal to some tastes, but for us, the price-to-value ratio needs improvement.

Great little lunch spot! Has a few sandwhich choices. We tried the rosemary chicken sandwhich and kids chopped brisket sandwhich, both were good! They also have the best potato salad!

Nice, cozy, and cool place to share a good meal. My wife had the Smoked Turkey Plate with potato salad and pinto beans (excellent). I had the Rafael Special (grilled catfish with rice and crawfish etouffee). Everything was very flavorful, and the service was top notch. Bread was fabulous! Loved the banana pudding for dessert! Took a sliced brisket sandwich to go for a great late night snack! Thank you! We’ll be back!

We are new to the area and I fancy myself a local food aficionado. So the choice to stop in was an easy one and I’m glad I did. Good parking and the smoker rolling out front told me I was in a solid spot. Super friendly and food was very quick to the table. Definitely will return!
My biggest suggestion would be that they add Topo Chico/Crazy Water/similar bubbly mineral water to the drink options. But that’s a personal choice. I had the pulled pork baked potato with an iced tea. Big portion, piping hot and overall darn good!
