No wait for lunch on a Sunday. It’s cool inside, bring a jacket if you tend to be cold.

Green onion pancake and thousand layer pancake were good.

Beef noodle soup and Honey walnut shrimp were decent.

Xo noodle had no flavor and noodles were over cooked. Do not recommend.

Cucumber salad was fine but it came after all the other food which was strange.

Plenty of parking. Nice walking trail by the water nearby

Soooo good! My fav Taiwanese restaurant in the Bay Area. It’s authentic and the service was the best.

Must try
– basil popcorn chicken (very pricey though); double the $ but same size in other restaurants
– ma po stinky tofu
– stir fry sliced tofu and pork

Stopped in at lunchtime. Very busy. Ordered spicy general chicken with broccoli, garlic green beans w pork and white rice. All were delicious. Service was all business and very hot food hit the table in short order. Def would go back.

Good Taiwanese cuisine in the area. I was surprised to find that they have stinky tofu here, which is quite a controversial dish. If you can eat it, you’ll love the dish and the smell dearly; but if you can’t take it, it’s the worst smell and taste food that you’ll disdain forever :))

We tried the stinky tofu and quite liked it. I don’t know if they did it right or not because I certainly didn’t smell anything bad, but the taste was acceptable and unique. Other dishes were also very good.

If we have another chance to visit this area, we will visit again!

I have eaten here multiple times, but this time the experience with the host (an old man with glasses) was disappointing. I understand that he wanted to give a table to a customer he knew, even though they arrived much later than we did, and were further down on the waitlist. After I pointed this out, he responded with a poor attitude and pressured us to accept a table we did not want. He could have asked nicely, and offered another table that was ready.

The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, and made an effort to accommodate us with a suitable table.

A true Taiwanese experience in the Bay Area Peninsula. My family loves China Bee, but ever since finding this place we’ve made it our new go-to! The portions are gigantic and flavors are savory and authentic. We ordered a smorgasbord of specialties including the prized beef noodle soup, mustard greens, hand-pulled chow mein and stinky tofu. We loved every bite and there was an appetizer hot and sour soup prior also! Service was top tier and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish! Highly recommend to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine, especially Taiwanese flavors!

The food is okay. I like the sour soup and maybe the fried rice noodle. I wouldn’t say this is a place you would come for Taiwanese street food but it does serve the family dishes you see in Taiwan. Service is friendly and environment is okay :)!

This is my family’s favorite Taiwanese restaurant on the peninsula. All the dishes are well cooked and taste authentic, with fast and friendly service. Lots of traditional Taiwanese dishes that you won’t find elsewhere. Stinky tofu is awesome! Plus the large parking lot makes it easy to park. A must try for anyone looking for authentic Taiwanese food!

We found this authentic Chinese restaurant unexpectedly in Foster City and liked it a lot. It’s the same taste from my hometown In Taipei. Very nice and cozy place to enjoy tasty foods.
