Not much to say here. The food was ok nothing great. We did go over lunch and the majority of the items we wanted to try were on the Dinner menu. We might try going back for dinner sometime but not sure. The chicken tenders were something we weren’t expecting. We thought they would be deep fried and breaded but they were pounded out and fried with a weird coating. I would never get them again. They were dry and not very flavorful.

Nice, clean, small town bar with a friendly atmosphere.
Ordered the corn nuggets as an appetizer, they were perfect.
I ordered the wings and they were delicious. Just the right spice with the buffalo sauce. My wife had a BYOB burger and it was hot and juicy.
We will return!
We did return and will say if you haven’t been here you are missing out.
Ordered the Corn Nuggets as an appetizer with honey and they were perfect. Wife ordered the Giant BLT and this comes with enough bacon to make a pig. I ordered the side Salad (which is a lie because it could have been a meal) with creamy Parm Dressing and the Cavatelli with sausage. The Giant BLT had rave reviews the cavatelli was made with small macaroni shells and the sauce was a bit tomato-ey. The sausage had a little spice.
Service was a bit lacking as we had to request refills and our bill but you don’t get that stranger in a small town feeling as they are really friendly.
We will bring back!

First time ordering from Tavern 36. I got a pulled pork sandwich with lots of meat and just the right amount of bbq sauce. Very tasty! Hubby had Italian sausage sandwich- very good! Big portions. Yummy brownie too! Definitely the place to go for good food in Mitchellville!

I’m not sure what happened tonight. Food is usually hot and amazing. I’m not sure if some of the food sat in the fryer too long and also a few very more than normal greasy items. Staff was friendly. We did sit on the patio, so we did go in a few times to get our food and drinks. No big deal. Will be back!

We were there last Saturday. We were informed that they didn’t know anything about our reservation for party of 12. With a little work we made it work. The waitress told us that she was by herself. She really did an amazing job of taking care of us. She was on top of everything, and even changed the channel to a game for us. Only a couple of hickups with the kitchen, but handled it. She was outstanding and everyone was happy with the experience.

Always looking for a good tenderloin, when visiting family out of town. Which cannot debate was good. Service was also good, until there was a pick up order. I get checking orders, to make sure you got the right order. But excuse my language, but got damn. How can you talk to someone the way you did… As an AGM for a restaurant, I just can’t with the way the man talked back. I get there may be some confusion, but don’t treat customers like they are incapable of picking up an order. Have some understanding.
I always frequented there while in town, like every time, literally. But this interaction was repulsive.

The dough was frozen and tasted like cardboard and the sauce was a bit tangy for me but so.e might like it that way. The cheese was plentiful and the sausage was good I think as I couldn’t taste it through the sauce. Won’t be doing that again..come on for the price toss that dough or buy it from northern lights. Wait staff is always the best. Nice place.

First time here since management/ownership changed. Came for the first Bike Night. It took a while to get a server, but after a 10-15 minute wait, the server that I did have was very helpful and attentive. I had a Patty Melt with Sweet Potato Fries which was very good. Food took a while to come out, but to be fair, they were busy, and I really wasn’t in any hurry. Menu had changed some and had been updated. They kept some of the signature dishes, and added some new one’s. Pizza options were limited. Overall pretty good. Obviously still need to work a few things out, but that comes with time.
