All of our meats are slow smoked in an oak fired B.B.Q. to produce the full flavored , tender juicyness only Genuine B.B.Q. can provide. All Side Orders and are made In House, from our Fresh Cut Fries and Creamy Mac & Cheese, to the Slow Smoked B.B.Q. Baked Beans, along with one Sweet and one Tangy Spicy B.B.Q. I’ve wanted to eat here since I was a kid and finally did!! I remember smelling the BBQ through downtown and it making me sooo hungry.
I was so pleased by the atmosphere and friendly service we received. Amazing food at a decent price. We will most definitely be returning to try more of the menu. We sure left “Stuffed”!!

The cook was so busy talking to other people he didn’t pay attention to our order. Ordered the chicken and ribs and got sausage and ribs. Unfortunately, we didn’t discover this until we’d gotten home. They forgot some other stuff as well. The sausage was very dried out so I don’t know how long it been sitting there. Ribs smelled off too. We threw them out because the smell made us nervous. Not impressed.

Great pork and brisket, can’t wait to try the ribs. Sweet bbq sauce is delicious definitely homemade and all the sides I’ve tried have been great especially the coleslaw, it’s vinegary and delicious. The people who work here are awesome and friendly and seem to care about their bbq.

The food here is great. The beans have a sweet flavor that pops. The chicken was juicy and had lots of flavor. Customer service is always exceptional. Worth the hour+ drive just to eat here.

When in Cottage Grove and thinking about bbq, my experience eating at Big Stuff is aways satisfying. Today I had a combination plate with burnt ends and pull pork. Macaroni salad is excellent – baked beans are very tasty. Nice people, hand crafted bbq meats and all their homemade side dishes are delicious. With a corn muffin too.

The owner replied thinking i was a customer from last night, it was today, this afternoon, so their response to my review is very invalid.
When I used to eat there it was great food, but lately they aren’t open most days anymore, and when they are open the service has gone way down. I came in to order and no one was in line, they were making a door dash order, ignored the fact I was right in front of them, also when the door dash person came in she immediately addressed them ignoring the fact I was already in line waiting patiently to order. Restaurants should treat dine in guests with at least as much courtesy and respect as door dash orders. I hope they start doing better but myself I won’t be eating there anymore. They either need more staff or different staff then they have now but something has to change for it to be the awesome place I used to go to. Shame.
