Wow! I’ve seen this place for several years and never stopped in before last week. I had a scrumptious apple spice coffee cake with marscapone whipcream, a pumpkin pie latte with coconut milk and bought a small rosemary parm loaf to take home for dinner.
Wonderful service and so adorable inside and out.
I usually dont drink lattes anymore at venues. They are never that good, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the pumpkin pie latte, it was tasty and paired nicely with that ‘oh so delicious’ coffee cake. That cake is unreal! Has all the elements of 2 stand alone pie/cake in 1 dessert.
I highly recommend that Leaven Bakery. Can’t wait to see what the Bistro will be like.
I will be back as a customer for sure!

The smell is heavenly, the food even better. Get here early for best selections as they are no longer a secret. I stopped by at 1pm (they close at 2pm) and the selections were limited. I purchased 2 raspberry oat breakfast bars that are filling treat, a piece of pumpkin cheese cake and a mini sourdough loaf. Don’t let the name fool you. It is big enough for several days snack or a large dinner side. There is usually a line to order at the counter but they are well staffed and the line moves quickly.

Leaven is truly a local treasure that I can’t recommend enough! The space is so beautiful, bright and clean.
All of their pastries are baked fresh every morning and wow everything i had tastes amazing, lemon torte, croissants, queen aman, cherry turnover, ham and swiss and their bread! What an excellent job they do!
I love that it’s family-owned, which adds such a personal touch to the experience. The coffee is excellent, rich, and perfectly brewed, complementing the pastries. The staff is always attentive. Made a quick stop in Deer Park and was recommended but a neighboring business to stop by Leaven Bakery and Patisserie and boy, I’m glad I did! Scones are my thing and I attempt to find one in every city we travel to so I’ve had my fair share. They had just pulled the maple pecan scone out of the oven and I couldn’t pass it up. Hands down, the BEST scone I have ever had. It was still warm and had the best buttery taste with the perfect amount of maple icing. I wish I would have taken other items home with me; everything looked so amazing. Thank you for sharing your perfected scone with me! I now can say, I have finally found the perfect scone. ❤️ My coffee and the friendly service were added bonuses to my stop at your bakery. I will definitely be back!

Lovely lovely lovely bakery well worth the drive. I got so many things. Will try to update with more pictures as I didnt have a chance to try anything. But to me a sign of a good bakery is the long line… moved fast, took me only a few minutes to be served. Wish I had time to sit and enjoy the lovely atmosphere and sip coffee out of ginormous mugs but had to rush out. Did eat the biscuits and gravy which was divine. The gravy was smooth, velvety, with lovely spices the biscuits light and airy with a crisp outside.

We attended the soft opening and tried a few pastries and a latte; we were very impressed! The space is simple, bright, and clean. The staff (I believe one or two of them were owners) were friendly, helpful, and patient. The danish was my favorite!
