Stopped in for lunch on the way to our destination and was greeted awesomely and was served right away. Service was fantastic and food was great! I had the catfish and okra and oh my, so good! We don’t have a lot of catfish in WI. Wishing I was closer to have more another time

I went for the delicious food and while I was there I realized this place has more than just great food to offer. Atmosphere was inviting and rustic, the wait staff were we always around helping out their customers.
If I could have stayed longer to hear the live band I definitely would have. I recommend giving this place a try

The wings were amazing!! Along with their shroomies which I didn’t get a picture of. However the southwest bowl was definitely a bit bland, I had to add salt and ask for a sauce mix that wasn’t already prepared for the bowl. As for the rice underneath, too many beans no enough corn and there was no sauce which is odd for a rice bowl. But my steak was cooked perfectly!! I asked for medium rare and that’s what I got!.
Other than that, EVERYTHING was great and our waitress was very nice. Everything is a bit on the pricier side but worth the drive and the money!

The most unassuming hidden foodie gem of the Flinthills. If you are driving by, make sure you stop. The cheeseburgers are perfect, and we love the funky chicken sandwich & chicken tenders.
You’d never guess a small town dive bar has such epic made-from-scratch food. Even their fries, onion rings, and ranch dressing are hand made. We drive over 30 minutes to eat here, and it’s always worth the scenic little drive.
Located between Wichita & Emporia, right off HWY 50.

Great food and atmosphere! I got the Fire Burger, not too spicy but a good flavor, and the onion rings, nice and crispy. The food took a bit to come out, but our waitress was very attentive and kept us posted on the progress of our meal. I’m glad there are small town restaurants like this. Well worth the stop in Peabody!

Fantastic burgers at this little pub in Peabody. We both got the “Blaid Burger” and it was delicious. The fried okra was also very good. Very fresh ingredients and friendly staff!

It was decent. Definitely a locals bar/restaurant hangout. Whole Fried okra is really good. Be great if there were a dipping sauce with it. Onion rings were great too. Fried chicken – one piece was over cooked the other was undercooked. Could be seasoned better. I asked for a breast and got a thigh so I didn’t really eat that much of it. Wings were breaded so Hubs didn’t care for them. The gravy was seasoned extremely well. Never had anything like it but it was definitely good. If you go you will leave smelling like fried food.
