Reviews
On the downside, we found the menu to be quite overpriced for the quality of the dishes. As people who grew up eating this cuisine and where we appreciate the traditional flavors, the $20 dumplings and other prices for the dishes, were a disappointment. It’s a lovely spot for the ‘scene,’ but we likely wouldn’t return for a full dinner at this price point.
We ended up spending nearly $200 per person, which felt steep for the quality provided. That said, the scallion pancakes and the fried chicken were absolute highlights, crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s a beautiful spot for a drink, but the food menu didn’t quite hit the mark for us culturally or financially.
Great atmosphere and good service
We liked all the food except the soup dumplings. Only 4! Little to no soup en the wrapper was hard. Would not spend my money on this again.
Als $13 for some (nice flavored) cucumber is a bit much
I noticed the table next to us being asked to leave because their time was up and the next reservation had arrived, even though they hadn’t had a chance to order dessert yet, as one of the other patrons mentioned. That was a bit surprising to see.
The food was just okay. The flavors were bold, but I found it odd that they don’t offer plain white rice, even though fried rice is on the menu. The ambience is beautiful, though the space feels a bit tight.
One disappointment was that there was no acknowledgment of the birthday, even though it was noted on the reservation.
Overall, it’s a nice spot for a special occasion. The drinks were great. I’m not in a rush to go back, but I’d return to try more of their cocktails.
I found the food to be super tasty. I tried a variety of dishes, but the pumpkin dumplings will live in my mind forever. The cocktails were also lovely. Not too sweet and they had interesting combinations.
I was super impressed with the service. Our server was very charismatic and attentive.
We had people with gluten free restrictions and vegetarian restrictions that had their own server corresponding with them to bring out dishes that matched their restrictions.

Service:
AMAZING! Very knowledgeable, very attentive, and customer service was top notch. We didn’t but around 2/6 of the scallion pancakes and our server took them off the bill (she insisted and we didn’t even complain about them we even said we were willing to pay). The couple next to us sat down thinking the dumpling bar was apart of the bar, but it wasn’t. However the manager came over to let them know but said to stay there he’d see if they could just stay to dine and let them. (We thought this was very thoughtful)
Atmosphere:
The design and structure of this place was so well thought out they didn’t miss a detail down to the soy sauce pot. It was a very upbeat atmosphere and trendy which in this neighborhood is what is expected but it went above and beyond and definitely sticks out!
This ended up 5th on our overall Beli rating list!
I first ordered a non-alcoholic beer — the waiter returned and said they were out. He then suggested two mocktails and even recommended one in particular, but after a few minutes came back again to say they were out of those as well. I ultimately ended up with a Coke, which was fine and in a super cute cup, but not the experience I had hoped for.
I want to be clear that the staff were polite and tried to help. The issue was the lack of availability and communication around the non-alcoholic menu. If a restaurant promotes N/A drinks, it really matters that those options are actually stocked — especially for guests who don’t drink alcohol and are trying to feel included in a social dining experience.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, a bit tight at some of the tables and the food was just ok, a bit pricey for what it was.
I really hope management can better align their menu with what is actually available so guests relying on non-alcoholic choices aren’t left without options.
