We had over a dozen people in our party and we were seated and accommodated in no time. Our drink orders taken as well as appetizers then our meals. The place was busy and our waitress was hustling hard. But it all worked out just fine.
The food was delicious with generous portions and everyone went home satisfied and most with left overs.
From the shrimp to fish and seafood platters, steaks to hamburgers: everyone was happy with the meals and the service.

I wasn’t satisfied with the way my guest were treated!! I had three unexpected guess for my birthday dinner; they couldn’t receive service. I understand they wasn’t counted in the group. It was a surprise. They was told they couldn’t accommodate them; are make an order. The manger on duty wasn’t professional are polite. We eat at Route 61 at all times. My wife was at the Hibachi restaurant on last month with 32 peoples; with the count of 25!! The manger made room and welcome us with good customer service. They had a full house as well. My family and I will not be back!! It was a feeling of discrimination among your lady manager.

I had a birthday dinner tonight. I told the manager it will be 10 people. I wasn’t expecting 3 other people to show up. Two left to give them a seat; because she had to work. The waitress informed my table the other two people couldn’t order? My crew was still eating and shock because Route 61 and Red Top wouldn’t refuse our service!! We have many restaurants in Natchez that we support, but come over here when it’s one of our birthday. All 15 peoples even them that wasn’t with us stated among one another we won’t be back.

Usually very consistent. Shrimp lovers dinner is my favorite. The past few times I have ordered it, the grilled/ fried / blackened shrimp have not been as seasoned as in the past. Still will continue to order however. Establishment is always very clean. Ask for Jessie to be your server. She is extremely friendly and on top of her game!

So happy we found out about this place. Beautiful scenery. Amazing waitress! ( wish I had got her name she needs a raise! Lives near restaurant is all I know) then there was the food. We had a beef filet and a ribeye. It was as good if not better than Ruth Chris steaks!! With a much better atmosphere! Ty to the best waitress!

Celebrated a friend’s birthday. Food and service was excellent. First time visiting Ducks Nest and it was worth the hour and forty five minute drive. Can’t wait to visit again in the spring.

We always sit by the windows so we can see beautiful lake St.John…the food is always amazing and so is the service. We love this place.
