We tried the enchiladas and the chimichangas. The enchiladas were good and flavorful, but the chimichangas were unfortunately way too salty for our taste. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself has a really nice, comfortable vibe. Overall, I think we may have just ordered the wrong thing. I’d definitely come back and try something else off the menu.

I came here with a large group and the servers were very attentive. The chips were plentiful and served with salsa and warm beans. I ordered a chimichanga and it was so hard I couldn’t even cut it. When I complained to the waitress I was told that it was hard because it was fried. I’ve had them at other places and this was not typical. I was disappointed more with the response than I was with the food I couldn’t eat. I wish them well, but I won’t be back.

We stopped by El Kiche Mexican Grill in Sugar Land and really enjoyed our visit. The food was good with plenty of flavor, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a solid meal, and know you’ll be well taken care of. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

First time here on March 7, 2026. An early dinner at 5:00 pm so there was not a crowd. Plenty of attention by the staff and all were very friendly and helpful. Wide drink selection and the proves were better than other nearby restaurants. I had the beef fajita and chicken enchilada combo with the green sauce with rice and charro beans. The food arrived hot with enough flavorful enchilada sauce. The fajita was in a very large tortilla and looked alon on the plate. Perhaps two smaller one or cut the large one in half and serve with some side or sauce. The other mael was the chile poblano, chicken, also with rice and beans. Again very good quality. An side order of guacamole was small but inexpensive. Two salsas, red and green, were top notch and the red salsa was heated. a small bowl of charro also came with the chips, crispy and not too salty. The total was about $5.00 less than our other favorite nearby Mexican restaurant. But the noise level here was was low! We’ll go again to try some of the other dishes.

Y’all this is my new go to for comfort food. Delicious chips, salsa (green & red) and pinto beans. I usually order the gravy enchiladas and get one with shredded chicken and one with cheese. My daughter likes the green enchiladas. The rice and charro beans are perfect. Served piping hot on hot plates. The service could not be more genuinely friendly. We have had excellent service and food every time we have eaten there. The prices cannot be beat for the quality and quantity of food you receive. I highly recommend El Kiche.

We had the chimichanga and the queso flameado. Both were great, as was the service! The chimichanga was perfectly fried, golden and crispy, and the chicken fajita inside was tender. We’ll definitely be back!

Enchiladas with the green sauce are delightful. So is the bean dip that they bring with the chips and salsa. The servers are attentive without hovering too much. I like the new style after changing the owners and the name – great neighborhood Mexican place.
