There I was, September 28th, I had just finished untangling my boat’s anchor line for approximately 73 minutes, my sailing jacket still damp with sea mist, and I found myself drawn to The Loft’s waterfront deck like a moth to a cosmic flame.
What really makes “The Loft” transcendent is their seafood chowder, which transported me to a feeling of oceanic bliss reminiscent of how Jacques Cousteau must have felt during his first underwater expedition – utterly connected to the maritime divine. The purple wildflowers scattered along the dock seemed to whisper ancient secrets as sailboat masts swayed in perfect harmony with my heightened consciousness.

This is a gem of a restaurant and you cannot beat the view. It is right on the waterfront by the marina. The food is delicious and our server, Becca was delightful. We opted to do four “courses” and order slowly so we could soak up time with our son who goes to college at Western. We stayed almost three hours and they were exceptionally accommodating. Brunch menu on the weekends. Reservations online. I highly recommend it.

We go there often. Nice view, not noisy, friendly staff. Outside seating in the summer. Not cheap but reliable and good value. Good happy hour prices. Love the ahi tacos, salads and burgers. Serving sizes might seem small to some. Perfect for us. Went there for brunch yesterday and had one of the best classic French toasts ever!

Went for lunch in a Saturday. They were fairly busy and appeared a little short handed so there was a bit of a wait. However, our server was amazing, kind, efficient, not stressed and she did a fantastic job. The tacos were delicious. We were so impressed with our entire experience.

I have been going to the loft for almost 15 years and it is a great spot to have a nice dinner or lunch and watch the sunset. They have a great indoor and outdoor space. It overlooks the marina which is beautiful. The service was great. They have a good selection of beers, and I tried the Cajun seafood, macaroni and cheese for the first time, and it was simply amazing. It was a good size portion, enough for me to take home and have for lunch the next day. If it is cold outside, be sure to bring a jacket, if you want to sit on the patio, as they do not have heaters. It is also a fun place to watch boats launching at the boat ramp and see all the funny antics that go along with that.

Honestly not really impressed. The service was slow for only 4-5 tables (not busy) – the food was lacking for the price…kinda greasy. I felt like we were needing to ask for the service instead of it being customer service oriented. And an automatic tip for 6 or more people? For lacking service? Won’t be coming back.

Great place to stop for lunch between Seattle and Vancouver. The entire seating area has a clean, bright, rustic feel overlooking the mountains and boat-filled harbor. While a bit expensive, the menu had options for everyone and a great drink menu. Service was excellent (Adriana gave perfect recommendations for food and tourist attractions) and food was amazing. Much better option than most of the strip mall choices along route 5!

My husband and I visited this afternoon. We had drinks, an appy, and we both got salads. My husband’s steak salad was great, but the steak itself was cold and was obviously reheated and served. My Chicken Thai salad was great, but the chicken was too salty. Service was fantastic, along with the drinks! We will be back one day, we loved the location!

The food leaves much to be desired. Small portions and high price tag. The fries were brunt and greasy. The food and service are not worth coming here. But I did enjoy the view.
