We’ve been waiting to try this place but I knew we had to eat it there. Idk if I agree about it being pricey or not because even though we spent about 45$ it was enough food to feed a family of three as long as it’s a husband/wife/little kid trio.
Angel was on the grill but I can’t remember the light skinned girls name who actually told us her and the grill guys name. Her customer service was on point though and I love how she guided us through ordering when she didn’t have to because we would’ve spent more by accident.
The seasoning of the Philly was top tier but it was overcooked. The cheese sauce disappointed me because it was clumpy, the color was off and of course the taste was too. So I had to go get my own cheese sauce from Taco Bell. Once I added it though.. I literally was in heaven. The board walk fries were a hit too, so I’m sorry to anyone who didn’t get there’s prepared right.
I found parchment paper or what resembled it in my sandwich after I bit it and that disturbed me but at least it wasn’t hair.
I liked the interactive dinning experience. We played connect four while we waited and they had a couple other games around the restaurant as well.

Disappointed with Philly Boyz Food Truck. 3 sandwiches and a fry for $50. The subs were dry, with little to no flavor, and no pickles. Very greasy, hardly any sauce, and just overall poor quality/taste. Mediocre at best. Definitely not something I’d recommend.

What a joke this place is. The most sorriest looking cheese steak I have ever had. Was slightly larger than a hot dog bun. Tasted awful too. $15 for that and a coke. No diet soda options. Where is the “whiz”? I don’t see it or taste it. If there was a dollar store of sandwich shops, this is it. Do yourself a favor and go to Jersey Mikes, you will be sooo much more satisfied.

Take this review with a grain of salt please. I did order delivery so you can’t necessarily expect it to be as fresh as it would be in store.
Overall I thought the food was good. I wish I would have gotten the Philly instead of the meatball sub seeing how that’s what they’re known for as the name of the restaurant implies.
I would have preferred the meatballs to be smaller in size instead of two large meatballs on each half of the sub. Would have made the ratio of meatball to sauce perfect instead of getting a little bit of sauce with a lot of meatball and vice versa.
Overall it wasn’t a bad sandwich it just had some room for improvement in my personal opinion.
Avocado fries were pretty good, maybe a little heavily seasoned but a perfect cook and good flavor. My personal highlight of the meal was the Jarritos Mexican Cola. Great addition to the meal.
I’ll definitely try Philly Boyz again, and go for a Philly next time at the actual location. Something tells me my experience will be completely different. Philly Boyz is definitely worth a try!

Order 50 dollars worth of food we couldn’t eat. The fires were so salty after the first one I was apprehensive about the rest of the food. The spaghetti fries lack flavor the breading was good but the spaghetti inside itself was bland. We order the chicken Philly and a bacon chicken ranch Philly. Both sandwiches were dry over cooked and lack flavor as well.

I went to Philly Boyz and ate and it was excellent. I had the fried banana peppers, fried spaghetti sticks, and fried avocado sticks for appetizers and every one of them were amazing. Jackie waited on us and suggested that we try the south Philly since it was our first time there. We took her recommendation and it superb. We shared a brownie for dessert and it was good too. The food was best we’ve had in while. There isn’t anywhere else down here that begins to compare it. Jackie was very attentive and wanted to know if we needed anything else or would like to try anything else. She was very friendly and was gave every guest that walked in excellent service just like she did us. I will be going back there again and recommending to others.

Food was wrong then when I told the employee she made it seem like it was my fault and argued with me, while arguing with another customer at the same time who said his order was also wrong. Then told both us we can just get out. After remaking my food it was wrong again and gave me wayy less than the portion size in my Philly. Had a terrible attitude about everything.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. I ordered a south Philly sub with fries and a mango drink. It was amazing! I am from Allentown, Pennsylvania and let me tell you, these are authentic. The owner was playing worship music when we walked in, and was very kind and welcoming. It was nice talking to him! The place was clean and put together nicely. Definitely 10/10 recommend.
