I’m deeply dissatisfied with the service I received. I placed an order for pickup, and upon arriving home, I discovered that the items provided were completely different from what I had ordered. This was not a minor error involving a single item , two separate items were incorrect.
When I contacted the restaurant to report the mistake, I was extremely disappointed by the response. Rather than acknowledging the error and offering to correct it, I was informed that they would not exchange the items. This lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve the issue reflects a serious deficiency in customer service.
This has been the most disappointing customer service experience I have encountered. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning or recommending this establishment to others.

The food was terrible. The fried rice was soggy with and could not finish it.

Its quite possibly one of the best chinese restaurants in HRM in terms of quality and service. I especially enjoyed the general gao chicken, the wonton soup and the pan fried dumplings that I had this evening. I can’t wait to go back to try different dishes!

Overall impression was that we were served traditional dishes using fresh ingredients (vegetables and proteins), the delicious recipes were all extremely well prepared and perfectly seasoned, and all our senses were more than satisfied. Our compliments and thanks to the kitchen! The atmosphere was pleasant and the entire restaurant was very clean. Lina, our server, was friendly and attentive. Our bill was quite reasonable considering we have enough for a full, leftover dinner tonight. The Golden Fortune Restaurant offers excellent quality and value and we will gladly make the hour’s drive to return again soon.
