Every single time I’ve caved and gone to this location for their horrendous sandwiches because this town has no options for food that isn’t fried to hell and back, I experience microaggression hate crimes and that is not a joke or an exaggeration. It’s been 3 whole times since age 12 and I am now in my early 30s, also no exaggeration, and every time the employees end up looking at me and giving me the most disgusting sandwiches with the worst service imaginable. It is beyond my control what my body appears as and what its functionality level is, but Subway takes that as an opportunity to force already struggling people to purchase unconsumable garbage. Wow. Lovely power moves, employees, but save them for your Reddit and Twitter threads. Not the workplace. Disgusting service. Even more disgusting, stupidly expensive food. ($16 for a 6″ turkey slop sandwich, a cookie, and a small drink??? Yikes.) Plus you’ll end up having to wait for the employee to do till when you’re the only one in the store and they hadn’t started until they looked at you and decided you should stand for 20 minutes when you had to come into the store in a scooter cart due to your physical disability. Never set foot inside this location unless you’re an able bodied white man, otherwise you’ll be forced to wait however long they please until you finally get fed trash. I will never return to any Subway location. I would rather starve lmao

The toaster wasn’t working properly today and it’s not the guys fault. Our dipper was cold after being toasted, so was our footlong Boss sandwich and my 6 inch number 1. I went to the other Subway and had them retoast the items because they were so cold. There weren’t any olives, jalapenos or banana peppers out. He also only had 6 meatballs for The Boss sandwich and it’s not even dinnertime yet The employee is wearing some strap on fanny pack while working which is entirely unprofessional. As a previous manager of subway I’m so disappointed. He put 4 slices of tomatoes on the first 6 inch and 5 on mine. I know it’s standard for 3 per 6 inch. They obviously have lack of training and I couldn’t get that employee to smile if I paid him. He was just as unwelcoming as today as he was last time. Right before 4pm on Monday the 17th. I’ve been craving Subway for weeks. I regret my decision now.

This subway is usually my favorite location in Shawano however on 07/01/24 around noon I was in there with my son. The tables were filthy and the service definitely left something to be desired. The staff were not so professional nor were they following food safety guidelines. One gentleman was in a hoodie, strings hanging down and not shaved, seemed to not even want to be at work. I’ve never had to repeat myself so much over bread choice or cheese… However the main issue was the young employee with curly hair who had no hat or visor and no hair net that is so not ok! Not to mention when you go from the register handling money to back on the line you should absolutely wash your hands prior to gloving up! Especially considering he kept touching his face and wiping his hands on his shirt. Not once did he wash his hands after any of that! We live in a world where COVID is still active not to mention other illnesses. Money has more germs than a toilet seat… Not only did he do all of that, but he grabbed chips walked in the back to eat and still did not wash his hands before gloving up to make another person’s order!!! Next time I will think twice before paying 30$ for a mediocre meal made in an unsafe setting…. Management really should look into this before someone gets sick

Ezra is always a pleasure to get when making our salads or anything for that matter! He always makes sure to listen carefully and doesn’t act like the amount of ingredients he uses will be taken out of his check. Always a good conversation and great service. Keep it up!!

Ordered online went to pick up subs. They said they can’t make any subs as they have no bread!!!!! This one and the one on Green Bay Street have the same owner. This is a sad representation of the brand

Walked in at 830 for a younger group of kids already closing down the restaurant, cleaning, told that they “already turned their oven off” (okay so turn it back on?), and out of pretty much everything I asked for on a sub. (Chicken, bacon, and flatbread?)
I mean if yall don’t wanna work and do your job, just say so.
Do better

The guy in charge is absolutely ridiculous there’s never any meatballs… the only employee who ever did anything is now gone? This subway and the other one have no right being is business any longer and I can’t wait for Jimmy John’s to run them into the ground!

Mediocre customer service and as for sub selection, there could be some improvement. I ordered three foot long subs today and in order to get them for 5 dollars, I had to have the three toppings of lettuce, tomatoes and pickles and because we wanted cucumbers, lettuce and black olives, these were no longer $5 each, but regular price. My question is = why couldn’t this offer be 3 toppings no matter what they were? I don’t think the other toppings could be that much more expensive. I don’t think I will be frequenting this chain anytime soon as prices are getting to expensive.
