If you want the best sandwich in the area, go here. I worked 3 years as a farmer, and too many years in the food service industry. That said, this is my absolute favorite sandwich place

Food taste’s amazing across the board. The grilled chicken sub is a personal recommendation. Always very consistent in the quality of food. Quick preparation, doesn’t usually ever take too long, clean dining area, wide selection of foods and amazing customer service.

I have found my new place for the Best subs in the tri state area. It’s called the Sub Spot tucked away in a busy shopping Plaza. Right when you walk in the place you are greeted with scents of fresh baked bread, mushrooms and onions cooking on the flat top. For my selection today I had to go with the Buffalo style cheesesteak on wheat bread. If you want this the way it comes it will be with Buffalo sauce, grilled onion, mushrooms and green peppers. I did everything but no peppers. Let me tell you what this sandwich was next level and the bread that they use here is so fresh. Next time you are thinking hmmm, how about a sub try this place because you won’t be disappointed.

Tried this spot with my husband and it was amazing. The employees were kind and quick. We both got the steak and cheese sub. I got their fries on the side which were great, and my husband got the house-made chips which he also said were amazing. We both paired our sides with their homemade ranch and it was delicious. This will definitely be a go-to spot for us!

My first visiting this restaurant tonight and I am highly impressed!! The sub spot atmosphere was awesome, the food was delicious and the staff was so sweet to me and very patient since I had no idea what I wanted because it was first time. The food line was sooo clean and i loved that because it’s super important especially when you have an open kitchen. I loved how the staff worked together to get the customers their food in a timely manner and you can tell they have great leadership and truly care / take pride about their job! We were going to go to Chick-fil-A and said screw it because the line was so long I was just like I can make a sandwich at home. As we were leaving I drove passed this gem piece call the sub spot and I will definitely be back and spread the word about how delicious it is!!! Thank you for servicing Greensboro.

Excellent customer service. Spacious restaurant. Everyone was so nice and talkative. Only chicken, lamb and meatballs are Halal.
They have a variety of options but i could only try the halal ones.
I got the spicy chicken sub which was not spicy at all but it was good.

Ordered the Patti melt fries and a pickle. The burger was ok. Nothing to write home about. Was excited to see they offer Boars Head pickles. I got one and was so excited to eat it right away. Couldn’t do that. It was so old and soggy it just fell apart. They need to throw those away and get new ones. I know BH pickles are cold cured so I recommend keep them cold.

The food was pretty good. I got the Greek chicken salad, and it was delicious. I went during lunch, so they were quite busy. However the line went fairly quick and I was able to get in and out without a problem. The cook and servers were exceptionally helpful and nice. Overall, a great lunch spot. I will definitely be back.

Getting a sandwich here when Giacomo’s is a few hundred feet away seems blasphemous, but hey, at least they have indoor seating. All jokes aside, Sub Spot is a good representation of a neighborhood sandwich shop, replete with a no-frills (though clean) interior and Boar’s Head meats. They may not be fancy, but they are good at what they do.
I walked in craving a cheesesteak but was nearly swayed by the brisket sandwich listed as a special. Had I not known what I wanted, I would have had plenty to choose from: hot and cold sandwiches, salads, wings, kebabs, and more. They will let you customize toppings a la Subway (I added peppers, onions, and chipotle sauce), and they completed my order for takeout very quickly.
Much like Jersey Mike’s, Sub Spot serves up a far better cheesesteak than you’d expect at first glance. The bread was soft, the cheese melty, the meat and veggies savory and satisfying (and none too greasy). If you’re accustomed to a sandwich stuffed to the gills with meat, you might be disappointed, but I didn’t find the quantity to be too paltry.
Given what’s nearby, Sub Spot probably wouldn’t be my first choice for lunch in the area, but it is convenient, reasonably priced, and tasty, a solid option all around.
