Saturday July 26 2025. We started out with some lemon drop Martini’s and that was good, the waitress was nice and attentive, then we ordered the wedge salad and that was good. We order the octopus and it tasted ok but there just was not much of it. We then ordered the Margaretta Pizza and didn’t even eat it as you can tell there was no love in making this, very skimpy on the mozzarella! We sent it back and ordered another drink and then left. It’s a shame as they had a good DJ and a nice bar and atmosphere. It was not crowded at all and now I know why. We proceed onto Hemingways for drinks and dancing and they was packed!

My husband and I visited Aqua Blue on a Thursday night in April. While the bar area was busy and hopping, the dining room was a bit sparse. Our server was attentive and greeted us within five minutes of being seated.
The menu has a good array of items to order. We shared the beet and buratta cheese salad, which was good but overdressed.
My husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara and I had the chicken breast over radicchio and lentils. Our food was beautifully presented and delicious although a bit pricey.
I did find their wine menu to be very limited.
The dining room while it was beautiful, it felt a bit dated and dark.
I have lived in Ocean County for the last 30 years and this was our first time visiting.

Everything was going great until we got our main dish.
We order Bronzino and got half of the fish. Who in the world serves half of the fish.
Over priced but Not a problem. At least give me the whole thing. It was cooked really good. Every thing was delicious. No doubt.
But half the fish is a joke.
They need to fix this problem.
Paying extra for quality is not the problem but getting half of a fish is a big problem.
They should at least put that in the menu that they only serve half of the fish.
Like ordering a steak they put the weight of the steak on the menu. Any where u go they serve the whole fish.
Also they should have an option for fillet or whole.
Very disappointing for a such a nice place and service.

Probably one of the best steamed mussels in white wine sauce I’ve ever had. Ali and Kane are the best bartenders and are so attentive and personable. They always go above and beyond to accommodate my allergy and provide tip notch service. They keep us coming back!

Really nice dinner experience with friends here. Service was excellent (thanks Juan) and food was very good. The burger with the pasta on top my friend had was kinda weird, but my bolognese was excellent. We sat in the back room luckily because it was very loud in the other dining area. I’d say it’s not too bad. But I had higher expectations. We were in an outdoor seating. Tables were placed enough apart. The food was tasty. One of the pasta was a tad bitter cause of the pesto.

Very nice well decorated upscale restaurant. The have a large bar in the front with a casual dining area with live music and a more formal dining area near the kitchen. Kitchen is open for view which I like to see. All was very clean and the food was very good.

We had an engagement party for my daughter and her fiancé here last weekend. The service and food were superb! The food was delicious, came out on time and hot and the staff were so professional and accommodating. Cathy, who runs the venue was easy to communicate with and super helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a party space or just a great meal!
