D. P. Dough is a great addition to Carson Street. Mainly known for being near a college atmosphere it fits in quite well. Open 7 days a week from 11 am to 4 am you can’t go wrong. Food is cheap and full of flavor and also includes a wide selection. Staff was friendly and got our food out quick. If your craving late night food this is a good choice.

Calzones suck. All bread. No actual filling. Way too expensive for what you get. Many other places you can go that are cheaper with double the serving size and filling. They skimp on ingredients here

Not local to the area, we got back to the hotel super late (3 am-ish) and were desperate for food but not desperate enough to pay hotel prices for frozen dishes. Found this place on DoorDash and noticed it was within a quarter of us so we placed an order through their website, and walked to pickup. I’m glad we went in, the staff were incredibly nice, very informative, and brought an amazing atmosphere even at 3 am, they were truly amazing. A beacon of light in the dark of night for certain. The food though, that was even better. We got 4 different ones to get a well rounded view of this place and honestly words could not describe how great the calzones were, and the prices were great too! An above 5 star experience all around! Thank you. We may have to come back just for some calzones sometime 🙂

I’ve never had greasier slop. These calzones are large and thin. There’s barely any filling and what is there is seriously under seasoned.
The wings were mushy on the outside and still cold/frozen near the bone!
I love to see a place open late at night but I shan’t be back and will remember the wasted $35 for a while to come

They have unique New York Style Calzones and I’m from Bensonhurst, (Little Italy Brooklyn).
They even have breakfast Calzones and they are very affordable. The workers were very friendly, and most restaurants in Pittsburgh have bad attitudes servicing people from out of town.

Placed an order online this evening at 2:00 for delivery. $87 order. Called at 3:00 wondering where my food was and they said “sorry we didn’t see your order we will make it now and have it delivered”. Waiting around 35 more minutes (WE ARE ONE MINUTE FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT). Called back inquiring about my order. “oh sorry i’ve been meaning to call you we actually can’t make your order and you’ll be refunded”. So I’ve been waiting over 2 hours starving for food, everything is closed now and they never even STARTED making the order. clearly never had any intention on giving us our food. the best they can do is a refund? do yourself a favor and RUN!
