Delicious food and amazing service. Everything tasted really authentic. The restaurant was nicely air-conditioned too. It wasn’t very busy when we arrived at 6:45 pm, but it definitely should be. The mango sticky rice phenomenal. Even better than some I had in Thailand.

Very good food with nice staff. I ordered their pineapple fried rice. When it arrived there were shrimp on it, which i didnt expect. When i told the staff they were very nice and switched out the dish with a fresh one without shrimp. The athmosphere was really good aswel.

The food was very good. I love all the dishes I ordered especially the tofu curry and the brinjal bean paste. However, the rice portion was a bit too small and the drinks were on the higher price. Been there few times and will definitely be there again.

We went there on a weekday evening around 6:30 PM. Finding a parking spot on the street was difficult.

Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but the fried chicken was just average, and the fried keng som fish wasn’t crispy enough. The food portion is small.

I have struggled to find a Thai restaurant with a taste of yesteryears (1970s-90s), and finally found this place. Thai-fusion tasty and authentic, the flavours at this restaurant will surely transport you back to an era when the leading Thai restaurants in Penang served only the finest tasting Thai food, with ingredients brought in fresh daily from across the border up north. Had a sumptuous lunch and these are the highlights: 1. Seafood tomyum, always the reigning diva of all Thai restaurant meals. This mixed creamy and sour version is a real hit, with the taste tilting towards bracing and delicious lime tanginess. 2. Basil Fried Minced Pork-fiery hot and savoury, bursting with cili padi heat and umami goodness, perfect with steamed white rice. 3. Lime steamed lala clams-a nice mild counterbalance for all the spiciness, featuring fresh sea clams steamed with herbs and garlic in a light citrusy broth; excellent!! Other recommended dishes include the Crispy Fried Kangkong (as an appetiser), the Fried Cauliflower & Cashew as well as the Braised Tofu in Thai Curry Sauce. Lovely place for satisfying Thai food, either for lunch or dinner.

Hidden in the vibrant streets of Penang. Love the cozy ambiance and the restaurant is very clean.

Their Tom Yum Seafood Soup is a standout — bold, tangy, and deeply aromatic, with just the right balance of heat and richness.

The Fried Pork Knuckle at Thong Thai Fusion is a showstopper — golden, crackling skin wrapped around tender, juicy meat that falls off the bone. Every bite is a perfect contrast of crunch and succulence, enhanced by their house-made Thai dipping sauces: a tangy chili-lime blend and a savory tamarind glaze that cut through the richness beautifully. Our MVP!!

Yummy Thai food, serving portion is not big which is suitable for our family. The food served was fast, as we came early around 6:30 pm on Sunday without reservation and did manage to get a table immediately.
I don’t usually eat pork but their pork knuckle is nice, skin is so crispy. Tomyum is not spicy enough which is great for my youngest girl who can’t take spicy food.
Green curry chicken can be improved further if the gravy is more creamy a bit and more fragrant.
Kangkung belacan is nice, love the crunchy textures.
Didn’t manage to try out their dessert as we are full but will surely come back next time to try it.
During weekend started from 7pm onward will get crowded, would suggest making a reservation to avoid a long queue.
