Sweat Less Travel
Sometimes you go into a place with very low expectations. And then you’re pleasantly surprised. That’s what happened here today.
Yes, it’s at McDonald’s. Everyone today was friendly, went out of their way to help, and was even proactive and making sure we had what we needed. The food is fine for what it is and not oversalted. And they still have a soda fountain, which our opinion is a huge unforced error being made by McDonald’s corporate right now.
From time to time, we’ve encountered some unpleasant customers. But the employees? This franchisee does a very good job and should be commended for their hiring practices in terms of who they have on their team.

I made a big order for my family Wednesday night 3-4-2026, 2 happy meals and two 10 piece chicken nuggets the food came fast I was glad of that because I just got off work and didn’t want to cook at home I got my order an was immediately pissed off my chicken nuggets were like stones so dam hard seem like they were dropped back in the oil an refried or microwaved and when I called to rectify the terrible food there was no answer on multiple calls I feel they knew they gave me bogus food and that’s why they didn’t answer the phone I wish I could of chose no stars because they don’t deserve them at On Wednesday evening, March 4, 2026, I placed a substantial order for my family, consisting of two Happy Meals and two 10-piece chicken nuggets. The food arrived promptly, which was a welcome relief as I had just finished work and was eager to avoid cooking at home. However, upon receiving my order, I was immediately dissatisfied with the quality of the food. The chicken nuggets were exceptionally hard, resembling stones. It appeared that they had been dropped back into the oil, refried, or microwaved. When I attempted to contact the establishment to rectify this unsatisfactory experience, I received no response on multiple calls. This lack of communication suggests that the establishment may have been aware of the poor quality of the food and intentionally withheld contact. I would have preferred to give the establishment a zero rating, as they do not deserve any positive feedback.

McDoanlds is so depressing looking now and it’s not even cheap. The food is barely edible nowadays so I definitely don’t want to spend $50 feeding my family of four at McD when we can eat at an actual restaurant for less. It’s supposed to be a fun, family fast food joint. Where is the color and fun for kids? Going inside now is like a nightmare. All gray and metal with screens that I have to place my own order on. That tiny counter with no one behind it. Where is the fun?

Ordered a happy meal for my daughter they hurried up and rushed my order and literally sold me an empty happy meal then refused to fix their problem when I came into the store until I mentioned that I was writing this Google review. So slow, took an half an hour just to get a 5 dollar meal, my food was made but no one gave it to me, they barely pay attention to people waiting inside for food, literally one person went behind the counter to grab there own food, which was alr made, another person, there for coffee waited longer then me if you can belive that, bad service, only have had bad experiences there, just trust me, do not go there, ever!

I want to state that my experience with the food quality here has always been great, that being said service has been bad my last several visits. They forgot a few items and I went back through the drive through to get the items and reorder a sandwich that slid out of the packaging while checking the bag to make sure all the food was in there. I reordered andlet them know about the other items and wouldn’t you know it I got my new sandwich and they forgot my other items again. The chicken sandwhich falling out wouldn’t have been an issue had they folded the foil packaging down like they are supposed to. My last 3 visits they’ve forgotten to include the full order. You’d have better experience going to one of the other Mc D’s near by in either Bradley, or Bourbonnais.
