Absolutely loved my lunch today!
Did a take out order and didn’t wait very long. Food is cooked fresh and lady in the back and lady in front was kind and prompt. First time ever eating here and I will return! You should definitely check out this hidden gem.

Man I love this place. Food is like going to Grandmas on a Sunday after church. Excellent country food and the portions are huge, can’t finish whole plate sometimes. Service is fast. If you like soul food this is the place.

Home-cooked burger like mom used to make. Fries were crispy well prepared. The Main critique i would give is my burger was quite dry all throughout ( overcooked for my liking and just like mumsy used to do) this is offset though by the impressive size of the patty. I practically had to dislocate my jaw like a Viper to take a bite. Also the tomato slice was thick, solid good tasting tomato ( tomatoes are big deals for me on burgers) service was very fast and pleasant and atmosphere was a nice old time local burger joint feel. Prices seemed average $10 for burger fries and fountain drink.

Today was our first time getting food here. I got a cheeseburger and fries. I’m slightly disappointed. The fries are greasy all the way through and almost burnt. I only had a half slice of tomato on the burger and the lettuce was old. The burger tasted fine and the buns were toasted as requested. We are going to try once again and try the breakfast. Maybe next time will be better

Favorite place in Eastern NC for a good ole Linky dog. That’s fresh country sausage link on a hot dog bun with mustard and slaw. You have to try it. We don’t have sausage like that in the Charlotte area. I don’t think you can get it west of Fayetteville.
