Stopped by this place for some saltwater taffy, but haven’t tried the ice cream yet. A regular bag runs around $10. I’m liking the store so far.

Worst fudge I’ve ever had. Tried 3 varieties: rocky road, Penuche with pralines and raspberry chocolate. All chocolate varieties had barely any chocolate flavor. The Penuche was also not flavorful. Texture was crumbly and not smooth like fudge usually is. None of them tasted good. A waste of almost $20.

Murphy’s Candy and Ice Cream parlor gets three stars from me. Let’s start with the store. Back in the day they used to have pay by the pound candy in jars that you could bag up. It was a lot of fun and I wish they would bring it back. Their candy selection and taffy selection were lacking and just don’t display well at all. Next let’s talk service. I didn’t see the sign that said all
Ice cream orders are placed at the register. Three teenage employees were standing directly in front of me behind the ice cream counter socializing and didn’t offer me any help. I stood there for several minutes not being helped. When I finally checked out and placed my order the cashier was rude. Let’s talk price. $10 for a small milkshake is high, and $10 for a scoop in a cone. Overall I love a good classic ice cream and candy shop but this location needs a little TLC.

The ice cream variety was nice but they cost way too much, 6.50 for a scoop and this time Rocky Road was so stale and gross I couldn’t eat it. Had my husband and kids try and they were grossed out. No good.

They have a variety of ice cream flavors, the only downside is that you can’t sample any. They also sell candy, taffy, and homemade fudge. The price is okay, definitely a tourist tax. A great place to take the kids.

The homemade ice cream at this place is truly delightful. We tried their bubble gum and coconut almond flavors, both of which were incredibly tasty and rich in flavor. The bubble gum had a nostalgic sweetness, while the coconut almond offered a perfect blend of nutty and creamy textures. Overall, a wonderful experience for ice cream lovers!

Fantastic ice cream. When it’s busy there is a wait, which is problematic for those of us with commitment difficulties …. so many flavor options …. I can change my mind 5 or 6 times before I place my order …. it’s hard to walk out with just 1 choice ….. and harder yet to walk out with 5 or 6 cones, so I have to limit myself to my final decision.

The ice cream was good but it was way too expensive for what it was. $10 for an ice cream cone. Also the staff were not kind, they ignored me and were not friendly when talking to them.

Terrible ice cream. Even more terrible service. Asked for waffle cones and received sugar cones. Was charged for waffle cones. We were given tiny scoops that looked like kids cones compared to others. The other ice cream shop up the street is night and day better.
