Chill place and cool story behind this restaurant chain. the salsa bar is pretty legit. Food is decent love that they can do bowls with their burritos. Good service. The pickled jalapeños slap with the all in one mix. The Santa de fe nachos were a bit weird with the pasta or pizza sauce. It’s very sweet that doesn’t go well with the rest

They had a burrito on their specials menu. It was shrimps and scanpy, it was very good. I was surprised how good it was. They also always have a very clean and well stocked salsa bar.
My beer did taste like it had not been properly been stored in refrigerator. I didn’t even get one of those beers from the ice bucket. Because the cashier told me he had some colder. Ones in their figerator but I think they put them in the refrigerator and then take them out over and over and they just get odd tasting.

The food is incredibly mid, black beans are literally tasteless, chicken enchiladas are not good the sauce is weirdly sweet, the salsas are either sweet or bland?? Theres no salt or pepper anywhere and they serve plain white rice instead of mexican rice. The only good part was that the food came out literally 5 minutes after we sat down.

Update:
My recent order was messed up. Wanted the “original chicken” and got the “Al carbon” Didn’t realize till I got home. I have no idea why you make the two variations of grilled chicken with weird naming conventions. And further, I don’t know who wants some generic melted cheese blend on top of wilted lettuce like this? It’s GROSS. And now I’m stuck just pulling the chicken out and eating it just by itself. 86 the “Al Carbon” chicken off your menu.

love Dos. I’ve been going to Dos since they opened up in Davis way back in the day. We started going to this location a year ago.
In general Dos Coyotes salsa bar is next to none! So many delicious and fun salsas to try. I LOVE the tomatillo salsa. Chips are good too. Everything is fresh (compared to some taquerias where the chips are stale and the salsa are an after thought).
We don’t usually dine in, but they also have a few good beers on tap.
The grilled chicken is always good. Can’t go wrong with simple chicken tacos with guacamole. When is cold out, the chile verde soup is bomb. Lately we’ve been getting the fajita salad – it’s so good!! Props to whoever plated this week as well as the presentation was on point!

Visited this place for the first time with some people from work. Had the Steak burrito which was absolutely fantastic. Tried most of the sauces avail with the burrito and chips.

I have gone to this location once before, but am more familiar with other Dos Coyote’s locations. Just like all the other locations, this is a counter-service business, although they do bring your food to you and clean up after your table.
I went during a stagnant time around 4 o’clock. There was no line to order and only one or two other people dinning in. The person taking my order was okay but seemed a bit annoyed.
My food came shortly after I ordered it, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. There salsa bar does not have the hot pico de gallo unlike other locations, but still had plenty of other salsa options and jalapeños, onions, & cilantro to choose from. I ordered the market burrito( grilled chicken, rice, beans, salsa – comes with a portion of chips) and a side of black beans & rice. The food was delicious and unique due to the fact it’s texmex not Mexican food. Give Dos Cyotes a try if you find yourself in this shopping center or if you are on a lunch break.

The entire shopping mall, where this restaurant is located, has somewhat inconvenient parking spaces and arrangements. This place has four 20-minute short-term spots are just in front of it, which makes access to this place more inconvenient. It has no drive-thru lanes, but if owner can get deviation from the city government so as to allow 3 to 5 customers for roadside parking on Town Center Drive, then this place will have a brighter future.
