We were recommended by a waitress in Countryside BBQ to come here for wings. She was absolutely right. Best wings we’ve had in a while. We also ordered Yolksef Burger Bowl (watching carbs) and upgraded to the house salad as side. Salad was way bigger than we were anticipating. My husband ordered the 1/2 pound brisket with a side salad as well. Our waitress, Julia, was outstanding, quick, helpful and delightful. Thank you Julia.
Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and the prices weren’t bad either. Great find in Morganton.

Stopped in on a Wednesday late afternoon based on reviews. I sat at the bar as this is a tiny eatery with few tables. As a single diner, I didn’t want to take up space at a 4-top. This is a popular place. I didn’t know until after I ordered but it was Wing Wednesday and wings were 50 cents each. There were many rubs and sauces to choose from. I missed out on those. (Psst, staff, tell your diners!) I started with some Mac n cheese bites and they did not disappoint. Yummy! I followed with a Texan burger and onion rings. The burger was perfectly prepped. The onion rings were OK, but not memorable. Service was spot on in this busy place. You’ll be lucky to find a parking spot, and I was. I’d dine here again, and will definitely try the wings next time. Observing those coming in the door, they didn’t have to wait too long for table space and the servers were kind and attentive to all the customers.

Hit or Miss but has some Consistent Classics. I’ve been to Blue 42 about 5 times, and you either really love it or walk out disappointed.
Personally I like The Texan, The Carolina Blue and The Heat. I prefer the sweet potato fries over their regular, tho they can sometimes be soggy spending on the day…
Service wise, it can take quite a while to get your food – regardless of party size. That can get pretty annoying especially if the food comes and it’s slightly above average.
I accidentally stumbled upon their wings and fell in love with their House sauce. If you want something consistently good, their wings are phenomenal.
The atmosphere inside is great, a little on the smaller size – but intimate. I just wish there was better seating outside.
Regardless, you should definitely stop by at some point!

This place is kind da small but definitely worth trying! Their burgers were fresh! Just like at home on the grill. My daughter had the cheesehead and it was so very cheesy!! I had the Hawaiian as a protein bowl, so no bun and all the veggies. Their fries are good and the beer battered onion rings are dope! They had wine, bottled and canned beer plus some on tap.

Omg you’ve got to try this place! First, you’ve got to see that menu, it is astounding. You’ll definitely find something for everyone. The apps are over the top deliciousness, the craft burgers and salads are amazing. This is one of those places where everything coming out of the kitchen is awesome. The cook staff came out to say hi and the servers were sweet and friendly. Place is so cute, like your favorite corner sports bar / sandwich shop you never knew you had – My whole family loved it.

The food was good. Nothing special. I got the Texan burger and everything on it was delicious, the bun was average for brioche. My brother had the Pbring it and he liked that one too. Though, when he received his order, he only got about four fries and several crumbs. In the restaurants’ defense, he didnt say anything. Also worth noting, neither of us got our pickle spear. I do have to say the customer service was very good, however we were seated at the bar so that may be why. Another thing is it was only about twelve dollars each, which is a good price for a burger and side I think. Very average experience but I would go back.

First time here. The service was slow but our server was running the register to. I ordered a pizza, and it was pretty good. My wife built her own burger and it came out missing 3 toppings. So nobody came back to check on the food so she had to go get in the line at the register to tell them her food wasn’t right. This took awhile. Anyway, everybody has bad days and I get that. The menu is exciting and we will come back and try again for sure. I will not order the pizza. The crab dip was very good.

Had to ask for pub chips that were cold and soggy. Also one of us ordered brisket. Not sure why they put barbecue sauce on the brisket. Brisket has it’s own flavor. Menu needs to say in description it comes with barbecue sauce. Shelby the server was very helpful!

When we moved from FL to NC in July of 2024 we were so hoping to find a great wing place. We are so glad we stumbled into Blu42. The food has always been excellent and anyone that visits we like to bring them there. Tonight the food was plated so exceptionally I just had to take pictures. Don’t let the outside fool you. Head on in and try for yourself!

One of our local favorites!!! They have such amazing burgers and wings, not to mention the dipper fries, oh and the fried pickles!!! The service is always great as well. It is a smaller place, so expect a small wait time if you go during a busy time. Usually it doesn’t take too long and it’s worth it!!
