Mexican and margaritas, count me in! Our server Alex was attentive and nice! The margaritas were strong and good! We ordered the homemade guacamole which was super fresh and delicious! For our entrees we ordered the street tacos. They were so good and all the ingredients tasted fresh! Don’t forget to add chorizo mashed potatoes and plantains! I would highly recommend this spot for date night or girl’s night out. You won’t be disappointed!

Recently, I attended a work holiday luncheon and decided to come back on Saturday because the food was delicious. The restaurant is very spacious and located on the corner in Cross Keys. After you eat, you can take a walk and do some shopping. Cross Keys is a lovely area located in Baltimore. For lunch, I had the fajitas with chicken, steak, and shrimp. Also, I had the chips with queso and a Margarita. The best flavors are guava and passion fruit. Overall, the food and drinks were good; however, I felt like I had better service when I came in with my work group. No one ever came back to the table to see if we needed anything. I had to call the waitress over to get another drink, so service is why I am giving them four stars.

Excellent first experience here st Luna Oaxaca. We were lucky enough to have Alex as our guide for the evening. We started out with an amazing guacamole which we got medium heat- on point and the tortilla chips were fantastic. The pozole struck the perfect balance with flavor and the “pop” of the hominy. We had a skinny margarita, which was great and smoky mezcal – smoked table side- I forget the name also excellent. For mains we had a chorizo quesadilla, a beef enchilada wiith mole and the skirt steak with Oaxca cheese and chimichuri- I would’ve probably liked a little bit more Chimichirri but that’s just cause I love this stuff. Definitely recommend f you are in the area

If you looking for authentic Mexican food, then this is your spot to go to. Their traditional menu meets innovated creative cuisine!!!! The food was delicious with bold flavors! Luna Oaxaca was our home away from home comfort food. As a family from the south, we know flavors and this was hands down legit. If you go please visit and ask for Marissa, she was so sweet, kind and friendly to my husband and I. To start we ordered Taquitos de Pollo. Omg loved the crunchiness of the taquitos with all the toppings. They never got soggy at all!!! Then my husband and I ordered Street Tacos. We got tacos Al Pastor and the Carne Asada Tacos. The hot sauce was fire!!!! Loved it. Perfect blend of flavors for each tacos. We also enjoyed the Pollo Enchiladas with refried beans and Mexican rice. We just couldn’t get enough. The food was amazing. As a dessert we ordered the Tres Leches cake! This cake was to die for… left us wanting more. As a result of loving this food, we got an order of the street tacos and taquitos. Even though it was a 40 minute drive for us, we will definitely be eating there again. And lastly the atmosphere was very modernized with that Latin Vibe! Very elegant. Love the salsa meringue music. I just kept vibing and singing with Marc Anthony music…

Sorry but it was mid. The vibe is cool. The aesthetic is appealing. The food fell short for me. The people were nice and knowledgeable about the menu. I would probably try a different restaurant before returning here.

The food is absolutely amazing and the drinks are handcrafted and created with your taste buds in mind. The atmosphere is beautiful. From the safe fire ambience on the patio to the beautiful Hispanic art and tile all through out. I lived the street tacos and the made to order fresh guacamole, it is definitely worth every penny.

I’m a bit mixed on it. The food itself was good, flavors were there, and prices are about what you’d expect for the Cross Keys area. Still, $20+ a plate felt a little questionable for what you get, especially since the menu reuses a lot of the same ingredients (kind of felt like you’re just deciding whether you want it wrapped or not). Would’ve been nice if they offered free chips and salsa too, like a lot of places in this price range do.

Service was fine overall, but the table payment system starts tips at 20%, which feels a bit pushy. The place was nearly empty when we were there, and when we asked about splitting checks, we were told they don’t normally do that and it was only allowed because they weren’t busy. Honestly, with handheld devices, it seems like pressing a couple extra buttons shouldn’t be a big deal.

The part that really rubbed me the wrong way was overhearing staff complain (with some not-so-great language) about splitting checks as they headed to the kitchen. That left a bad impression.

All in all, not a terrible experience food was decent, service wasn’t bad but between the pricing, tipping setup, and the attitude around small requests, I’m not sure if I’d come back.

Happy Hour every day here 2-5 !! Went to the 1st one and it was nice. We were seated immediately. There is bar stool seating or Patio. I preferred the Patio. Our waitress Levet was a gem and was very attentive. They have a very affordable happy Hour menu with some favorites on it like the Enchiladas which were good.. Margarita’s are offered at a discount. I ventured off that menu to try the made to order Guacamole, It came with warm chips which was delicious! And The Burrito Sinaloa was quite filling. If in the area try them out!

We hosted our end of year team gathering at Luna Oaxaca last night and had a fantastic experience. They were wonderfully accommodating with our group of 17, and securing the reservation by email a few weeks in advance was quick and easy. The service was fast and efficient, the food was absolutely delicious and our whole team had a great time. Highly recommend for any group event or night out.
