Great little hole in the wall hidden gem taco joint. Really nice staff. Food home made. I do hope the place gets a little bigger lots of customers always coming in and we usually have a big crowd with us. My favorite are the tacos.

Lago Vista has a small seating area inside. Most of the open area is outside, so try to go on a nice day. The food is ok. Had the nachos and taco sampler. The chips are homemade, which was great, but stay away from the rice and beans, by far the worst I’ve ever had. On a positive note, the carnitas were some of the best I’ve had. If I come back, that’s what I’ll get.

We’ve ordered take out 2 times and had the same experience both times. The food was very overcooked. The burgers are very overcooked and really dry. The churros were okay. I waited 45 minutes for my order and it was extremely disappointing. Very small portions and poor quality for what’s charged.We will not be returning.

Beautiful family owned and operated hole-in-the-wall spot to get some authentic Mexican food made from scratch. From the chips and salsa, to the street tacos, to the California burrito, it was amazing. If you’re passing by, make sure you don’t pass Lago Vista!

Delicious food, great atmosphere! Enjoyed eating on the shaded patio. Stuffed avocado was so tasty, with just the right amount of spice! Hubby’s burger was outstanding with ham and pulled pork and a cheese sauce with spicy Mayo. Hard to make a choice with all the great menu items, so we will be returning!

THE CHICKEN ENCHILADAS ARE FIRE! Soooo delicious! I’ve had them a total of four times. Loved my pomegranate Margarita. Also, the steak burrito is delicious. think this is my new favorite Mexican food restaurant. I met the owner he is a chef from California and he let me sample a few of the items like sauces and cheese dip. Really nice patio with misting fans during the summer is a huge plus! Right by the water! They also allow leashed doggies on the patio.

I loved it before it caught on fire, now they’re twice the price and the two times I ordered it was wrong and missing items,. I’m sorry but disappointed and who makes an enchilada with flour shells. That’s called a burrito where I grew up.

After their fire …. It’s a hard pass from us Menu is minimal, food is awful. Service was inadequate.
Really sorry for the fire but did you have to change everything else.
Won’t be driving back out there.
OMG – this food was excellent. Their attention to detail and presentation was spot on. Worth the drive and definitely worth the $$$! I can’t wait to go back for another menu item! I’m excited for these folks!!! Jo well done! Thanks for your expertise!!
