I had a deeply disturbing and unacceptable experience at this location, one that I believe was rooted in racial bias. I arrived around 6 p.m., and there were several people waiting in line. The cashier asked for everyone’s names, but when it was my turn, he took my order without asking for my name and wrote “CHINO” on my receipt. I was shocked and offended, as it is an inappropriate and harmful stereotype to assume someone’s race and label them in such a manner. I am not Chinese, and this assumption, combined with the derogatory term, was completely unacceptable.
When I returned to address the issue, the cashier suddenly pretended not to speak English, even though he had communicated with me in English just moments earlier. He claimed that “CHINO” was generated automatically by the system, which is an outrageous excuse. There is no way that any computer system would automatically insert a racial slur like that. This is not a simple mistake—it was an attempt to deflect responsibility for a deeply offensive action.
What made this experience even worse was how the cashier continued to act like he couldn’t communicate when he was clearly capable. He interacted with multiple other customers and delivery personnel without any issues, so to claim that he could not understand or speak English or Spanish was disingenuous and troubling. In fact, when a Spanish-speaking customer who was next to me tried to assist by translating for him, he acted like he couldn’t even understand her Spanish, which further demonstrates how false his claims were.
This kind of behavior is not just unprofessional; it is racist. It perpetuates harmful stereotypes and shows a complete lack of respect for customers. I am appalled that instead of taking accountability for his actions, the employee made excuses and pretended to not understand. The impact of such behavior cannot be understated—it’s damaging, disrespectful, and needs to be addressed immediately.

Following the incident on the 6th, my friends went back to the store on the 7th to speak with the manager, Carlos. Unfortunately, their experience was even more disturbing. It was one of the most unprofessional and offensive encounters my friend has ever had. Despite the employee’s actions, dishonesty, and poor customer service, all we wanted was for the store to acknowledge their mistakes and offer a sincere apology. Instead, Carlos raised his voice and essentially dismissed my friend, asking, “What do you want? We’ve already refunded the money.” His behavior was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking any form of apology or professionalism. My friend was left speechless and very upset, her body was literally shaking.
Let me be clear: we did not initially go to the store for money, as $10 is irrelevant in this context. What truly mattered was the racist and dehumanizing experience we endured, and the lasting psychological impact it has had. We also hoped Little Caesars would take this opportunity to properly train their employees so that no one else would have to go through what we did.
The trauma we both experienced was significant. We asked for a formal apology and left our contact details for follow-up. However, we never received any call or acknowledgment from the Carlos. To make matters worse, the manager’s attitude and behavior left us feeling unsafe, even wondering if he might physically attack us.
This experience has caused considerable mental distress, and I’m sharing it now in hopes that no one else has to endure this kind of treatment. No one deserves to be subjected to such unprofessionalism and mistreatment.

I had a tough conversation with my friend yesterday. She’s a regular at this spot because her church often orders there. She’s Asian, and they’ve never asked for her name before— They might have practiced this with Asians regularly before. Please investigate.

Update 04/30/2023 The young black girl at the front is absolutely amazing. She actually smiles at customers. Very polite person.
This company does not provide an air conditioner for the staff. It is always like an oven. I felt really bad for the staff.
As in the photo, very filthy restaurant. Rust, dirty marks all over.
I will never go back to this location until they provide AC for the staff. I will be contacting my local news agency about this.
