Great little Philly cheesesteak sandwich shop in East Tacoma. Definitely seems like one of those hole in the wall type shops that serves absolutely delicious food. I got the pepper cheese steak and it had just the right amount of pepper flavoring. The wife got a regular cheesesteak. Both delicious.

The best Philly cheese you are going to get in Washington. They LOAD on the shaved beef and toppings and you are not going to be hungry afterwards. The place is no frills but if you ask me it just adds to the authenticity. Gat take out and enjoy at home, they come out piping hot so it’ll be perfect when you get it home.

I ordered a half pepper steak with extra cheese, fries & soda (Shasta). Online ordering was easy and order was ready in a timely manner. Once arrived I was greeted by who I assumed were the owners, the husband was taking care of the front of the house while his wife was in the kitchen. I made a request/accommodation for a non listed soda flavor but they quickly let me know they were out of that specific flavored and offered additional options outside of the online ordering system. My food was hot and very yummy, the steak its self was very very juicy. Perfect amount of peppers and cheese and the half size for me was more than enough. Fries were also hot and well seasoned. My whole meal was under 20$ so I will definitely be back even though I live over 15 miles away. Can’t wait to try the chicken Philly next!
Go check out this small black owned buisness ❤️

Ooooh my goodness!! My friend and I tried My Philly today for the first time. I have never been more sad that my sandwich was gone!!! Omg so good!!! I will definitely be putting this in my regular rotation of local businesses I try to support.
I had the pepper steak. It was phenomenal. The flavor and spices
My friend had the mushroom steak. She said it was also phenomenal.
Only friendly feedback we had was, maybe cook the fries a little longer just because they kinda became a mess with the cheese but otherwise sooooo good!!! I highly recommend this place!!
I wish I had taken picturesof our sandwiches

My good friend owns this place . We worked together at a Refuse company in Seattle. Nice to support small business owners. He is very generous with the meat portions. Definitely coming back . The sandwiches will keep you full.

Wow! Did a search for the best Philly cheesesteak near me as I was starting my drive back to Portland this evening. This popped up and it looked like it wasn’t too far off the freeway so I decided to try it. One of the best food decisions I’ve ever made. The owner and his family greeted me as I came in, we chatted about what makes a good Philly cheesesteak, their history, and I ordered the original, large. I planned on eating half and taking half with me for my husband to try when I get home tonight. Well, unfortunately, my husband won’t be able to try it. I ate the ENTIRE sandwich. This is the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich, EVER. GO THERE NOW!!!! After I finished I ended buying twelve sandwiches for our team meeting tomorrow.

Today’s visit to ‘My Philly’ left me surprised at the realization that I had apparently never had a proper Philly cheesesteak. While I feel under qualified to compare these to others, I am certainly qualified to vouch for this hole in the wall cheesesteak treasure!
I ordered the Deluxe Cheesesteak that had allll the fixin’s. Absolutely incredible. I couldn’t help but devour the entire sandwich!
I highly recommend this place if you like a good philly. The atmosphere inside may not feel like a polished, well established restaurant, but God knows it isn’t… it’s a legendary Philly cheesesteak shop! You won’t regret it!

This is a no frills cheesesteak. It’s very similar to a neighborhood cheesesteak shop you would find in Philadelphia, this is not a traditional restaurant setting. I would suggest visiting during the day, the adjacent businesses have bars on the windows, so it’s probably not a good idea to visit at night.
The cheesesteaks are very good, if you enjoy a traditional Philly Cheesesteak.

Great family owned business. The food is always hot and fresh. I’ve had the chicken and steak deluxe sandwiches. Both equally relish. And the fries are superbly seasoned served hot and fresh. I will continue to be a customer.. Thanks for the taste of Philly in Tacoma.
