i really like this place. i only order delivery and they are always super kind on the phone and have reasonable wait times. 30mins for a large pizza w custom ingredients is not bad at all. i also think pricing is fair.

I placed a order on their app and the price was for $20.99.
They called me to tell me the price is wrong and that it would be more. When I informed them that has nothing to do with me. That they have to honor the price that given on their app. They decided to cancel my order.
Per owner.
If their is a error on your app that is something they have to deal with and fix. Not on the paying customer.
I have always ordered from them since moving here. Their pizza is not even that good. But since I haven’t found a good pizza place in meriden. I have stuck with them cause it’s OK pizza.
But now I will go on the hunt to find awesome pizza. Thank you for pushing me to do so!

I don’t know where to start I really like these guys at first I ordered a chef salad tonight the guys telling me the salad was made around 3 or 4:00 this afternoon the eggs are watery at the bottom like they were sitting in a different salad and I have nine little tomatoes that are old and wrinkly and I called the store to get a new salad and he told me they would just send a driver with more tomatoes and two eggs that’s not how business works so I guess I won’t be ordering from them anymore it’s sad but I wish they would handle business different my opinion does business is too cheap

Ample seating inside! To many chips in Fish and chips dish yet fish was tasty! Barbecue chicken wings and bacon pizza was good! Food was served fast and hot! Recommend if in a you are rush or hungry this place it!

I have a horrible medical treatment every week and the only positive is my Sausage and Meatball Grinder.
And this evening I made an order for a pizza and they made an error on it and I called and let them know and they immediately remade it and delivered it.
They’re probably the best place in Meriden! Go!!!
(And what really makes me happy is that when I pick up my orders during the weekdays during lunch time they always have on old episodes of SAVED BY THE BELL! LOL

Empire has the best cheese calzone, in my opinion. I ordered the calzone for pickup. I told the woman at the register to keep the change. She asked if I was sure because of the amount I handed. I then realized I made a mistake and handed her way too much. Homage to her and to this pizza place. This brought so much joy to me because it shows me that there are still honorable people in this world. I wish that this business’s success multiplies by 10.

This is my 4th time giving them a chance with pizza I ask for specific things such as light baked and no parm I’d rather the people in my house who like it add their own , every single pizza is so burnt it’s not edible, ice cold , I mean like from the fridge cold and so full of parm it’s like mud on your pizza 4 pizzas all bad regardless of what I ordered , so they took my money and didn’t pay an ounce of attention to what I wanted . They’re horrible !!!

Placed an order for delivery tonight. Food was here within 20 minutes. The food was still hot when it arrived. I had a chicken Caesar wrap deluxe, and my husband had a pizza. The mushrooms on his pizza were fresh, not canned, and the food altogether was amazing. French fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. Chicken was perfectly cooked. The wrap was amazing, everything was just all-around great. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again.

I have lived in Meriden for 20 years now. We have always ordered from empire. It started because we live right down the road but soon as we tasted their food and received their service we were very happy and continued to order. We still order today 20 years later. But unfortunately last lately the prices has gone up and the quality of the food has gone down. For example
Last night we ordered two grinders. The bread has changed, the bread is smaller which means the grinder is smaller. When we opened the grinder their was barley any meat and it was burnt. The total with a 2 liter of soda came to 34$ plus tip it was 38$. I always tip well because the service and food is normally always good. But I was very dissapointed. Lately the quality of food has just gone down. And we are very disappointed because we enjoy the food so much it taste wonderful. Don’t get me wrong the taste and flavor is still there. But the quality and amount of food you get for the price is no enough. I’d rather spend the same amount of money and get Chinese and get three or four meals
