This is an absolute gem of a restaurant! When looking for where to get a quick lunch off of I-5 we came across Las Cazuelas. It’s in the middle of nowhere across the street from a giant corn field, but don’t let that stop you!! The food is incredible! I got a fish taco and an adobado taco- both came on homemade tortillas. The restaurant itself is very clean and bathrooms are nice too. Skip the fast food spots and come here instead, it’s worth it!

I had the beef fajitas — just like homemade, the way mom makes them. The atmosphere is truly authentic and the service was outstanding. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and they still welcomed us warmly and waited for us to finish without any rush.

Yall when I tell yall this food was delicious please know I mean that!!! Authentic Mexican food homemade everything!!!! They have a well deserved 4.7 stars currently. I literally started to gate keep but that ain’t me… i had to add the location on fb! If you are ever on the I-5 in California north of Sacramento on the way to Oregon go on head and stop!! Get there early tho because they aren’t open late. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was too! Food came out quickly and everything was steaming hot!!!! & 2 fish tacos rice & beans & 2 sodas $22. Si mi amigos!!!! Mi Amor!!!!

Make sure to make this a stop on your trip down I-5. They had the best chile relleno I have ever tried. The sauce on it is excellent. The Chile Verde is really good too. They have homemade corn tortillas that are thick and soft. We will definitely be coming back!

WOW, absolutely incredible food!! I’ve ate at a lot of Mexican restaurants, even in Mexico and this is some of the best I’ve had. The corn tortillas were thick and everything had incredible, fresh flavor! If you’re driving along the 5, this is 100% worth the stop!

Solid place. Passed by it on the way to the supercharger and decided to order a meal. Got Chili Verde and it had pretty good serving size for the price. Tastes great too! I hope I have a bigger capacity so I can try out more but I was so full. Their restrooms are clean and wide too. It saddens me that there’s almost no people coming in to this place and eating at the junk Burger King and Taco Bell in the rest stop nearby.

this place is a must go. ive been to mexico so many times and this place TOPS much of the food i had there. family owned the guy is cooking solo in the back. ten out of ten. must come here don’t second guess it. definitely a hidden gem in the middle of no where.

A small unassuming Mexican restaurant which had authentic Mexican food. Burrito with Birria beef and Carne asada was outstanding. Gordita’s also were fried and tasty. Both were huge. They have different kinds of sodas and Mexican sodas. Decorated with Mexican ornaments. Service was fast. Clean bathrooms.
