This friendly bustling owner run spot is a sleepy gem, at least to us. A Facebook post caught our attention and we weathered the pretty snow to check it out. Upon entering, it was filled to capacity but as always, timing is everything and we got seated immediately in a cozy nook by the front door without even a whisper of a breeze from outside. Holiday decor makes the space festive with happy chatter throughout. The owner stopped by to introduce themselves, just the right amount of interaction for those who are not social butterflies. Now the food, home cooked goodness on a plate for all three items we tried. Steak tip eggs Benedict was perfectly cook, runny luscious yolk, seasoned Hollandaise sauce blanketing both eggs and accompanied by the tastiest tater tots. Flecked with seasoning, crispy outside with a fluffy interior, these were the highlight of the meal. Second dish was the red velvet pancake stack, 2 generous but not overwhelming cakes, topped with whipped cream, powder sugar dusted and flagged with a ginger bread cookie. The plate was also loaded with scrambled eggs, chunky home fries, sausage and an adorable melon slice. As we were nursing our drinks (coffee for me and soda for my BF), the owner dropped off a luxurious, still warm cinnamon roll, dolloped with a cream cheese frosting and what I believe was caramel drizzle. Decadent does not due it justice. We each took a bite and threw in the white flag of surrender, taking it home to indulge on later with an ice cold milk or a black coffee. We will definitely be back!

Annual stop on the way to scout camp — and still one of the best. Menu is big, service is fast (like “food hits the table in five minutes” fast), and breakfast is solid across the board. Pancakes are on the smaller side but fluffy and full of flavor. Potatoes always hit right. Staff is friendly, prices are fair, and they’ve been consistent for years — which matters more than hype.

If you’re headed north and need a real sit-down breakfast that won’t wreck your schedule, this is the move.

Found this place while driving and ill tell you i was glad I stopped in. I ordered blackened chicken Ceasar wrap with fries and this is how i received it. Food was great and crispy fresh. Service was on point and helpful. I will return for another visit.

Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and the kindest staff. They made our little family feel seen and welcomed, not judged. With two toddlers, that means everything. We left with full stomachs and full hearts.

For breakfast, fun variations on classic fare. Had even more elaborate specials and seasonal appetizers (yes breakfast appetizers). Also fun flavored coffee and boozy coffee drinks too.

6.1.25 What a pleasant surprise as we visited for our 1st time. The service was perfect. My Western Omelet was cooked perfectly, and I really liked the raisin toast. The quotes/plaques in the bathroom were so sweet. This place was really busy in the morning, so we had to park across the street at the shopping area and walk over. No biggie. I’m just letting folks know there are options if parking gets tough.

This is the best place for breakfast or lunch! They have typical breakfast and lunch meals along with some unique foods. The Crossfitter breakfast is healthy and delicious! The cranberry chicken salad sandwich on a croissant is amazing! The atmosphere is friendly, and it’s such a nice local place to visit any time of year for breakfast or lunch.

We came here for breakfast with some friends while visiting the area. The draw was the train theme for one of our kids and a diner feel, but the food…wow…fantastic. We came with a big group including 4 kids on a Sunday morning, and without a long wait they were able to seat us out of the deck which was nice. We had a variety of food, but a few particulars, my son had pancakes which were massive. My daughter had beignets that were part of a special/seasonal menu, that she completely finished and I had something called Mess Madness, which was basically mix of bacon, sausage, home fries, peppers, onions, eggs over easy and hollandaise sauce…superb. I would have thought the large group would have slowed things down, but we didn’t wait any longer than if we were half the size. Great job! It’s right off the highway so even if you are just passing through, worth the stop. Parking was not difficult although they were pretty full when we got there. This place is right along some railroad tracks which thrilled my son…so we won all the way around.
